Description

How to control the automatic opening of the trunk for automobiles {CONTROLLING METHOD FOR AUTO OPENNING OF AUTOMOBILE TRUNK}

The present invention relates to a method for automatically opening a trunk for a vehicle using a passive infrared detector, and more particularly, by detecting a user's motion with a smart key, the trunk is automatically opened to free the user's hand for convenience of trunk use. It relates to a vehicle trunk automatic opening control method to increase.

In general, the rear of the vehicle is provided with a trunk capable of loading a predetermined load, and a trunk lid for opening and closing the trunk is provided.

The trunk lid is the key to accurately open and close the cargo loaded in the trunk from the outside and many technologies have been developed accordingly.

On the other hand, in the situation where the user can not use the hands freely, such as the state of carrying the load on both hands, there is a hassle to put down the luggage in order to open the trunk. The system makes it easy to open the trunk.

However, such a conventional trunk automatic opening system has a hassle to move to the trunk at the rear of the vehicle after the user first boards the vehicle interior to open the trunk lid using a touch pad or an operation button to open the trunk.

The present invention has been invented to solve the above problems, by installing a passive infrared detector to detect the user's motion in the lower rear bumper to automatically open the trunk by the user's movement of holding the smart key trunk It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for automatically opening the trunk of a vehicle to make the use more convenient.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention, if the smart key input from the smart key electronic control unit, the infrared detector electronic control unit, the step of waiting for the two infrared detectors in the signal waiting state; Inputting a signal of detecting the user's motion by the other infrared detector to the infrared detector electronic control unit within a designated time after any one of the infrared detectors detects the user's motion; ; Actuator is driven by the signal of the infrared detector electronic control unit to automatically open the trunk; provides a method for automatically opening the trunk for the vehicle, characterized in that consisting of.

Preferably, the infrared detector detects the user's motion only when the user holds the smart key.

In addition, after automatically opening the trunk, characterized in that it further comprises the step of releasing the signal standby state of the infrared detector.

The two infrared detectors are installed on the lower side of the rear bumper at a predetermined interval from each other.

According to the method for automatically opening the trunk for a vehicle according to the present invention, the trunk can be conveniently opened without putting down the load to be loaded on the vehicle, thereby preventing musculoskeletal disorders. In particular, in the case of an SUV vehicle having a large load, a large effect can be obtained according to the application.

In addition, due to the characteristics of the trunk handle that is not frequently used, it can be easily soiled by dust, etc. According to the present invention, it is possible to prevent the hand from being contaminated by automatically opening the trunk without using the hand.

Accordingly, it is possible to increase customer satisfaction and vehicle merchandise and improve user convenience.

1 is a schematic configuration diagram showing a system for automatic opening control of a vehicle trunk according to an embodiment of the present invention;
Figure 2 is a view showing the bottom of the vehicle rear bumper installed passive infrared detector according to an embodiment of the present invention
Figure 3 is a view showing in sequence the automatic opening control process for a vehicle according to the present invention
4 is a flowchart illustrating a process of automatically opening a trunk for a vehicle according to the present invention.

Hereinafter, exemplary embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

The present invention is intended to increase the convenience of use and improve the merchandise of the trunk by allowing the user to automatically open the trunk without using a hand.

To this end, the system for automatic opening control of the vehicle trunk according to the present invention, as shown in Figure 1, the smart key electronic control unit (ECU) 10, the infrared sensor electronic control unit (ECU) mounted inside the vehicle 13), passive infrared detectors 11 and 12, actuators 14, and the like.

The smart key electronic control unit 10 serves to operate the infrared detector electronic control unit 13 after receiving and confirming the signal input of the smart key.

In one embodiment of the present invention, the smart key electronic control unit 10 recognizes a signal input by the user holding the smart key by pressing a button of the smart key, and operates the infrared detector electronic control unit 13 to operate the manual. The infrared detectors 11 and 12 are controlled in a signal waiting state.

That is, the infrared detector electronic control unit 13 operates only when the smart key is input to the smart key electronic control unit 10, so that the passive infrared detectors 11 and 12 can sense the user's motion. Wait in state.

As described above, the passive infrared detectors 11 and 12 are detectors for detecting a user's motion, and are composed of a first infrared detector 11 and a second infrared detector 12, which are located below the rear bumper of the vehicle. Installed at predetermined intervals from each other.

The first infrared ray detector 11 and the second infrared ray detector 12 recognize a user by detecting a left and right movement of a user's foot having a smart key.

The infrared detector electronic control unit 13 receives signals from the first infrared detector 11 and the second infrared detector 12 to perform electronic control for opening the trunk.

In other words, when the infrared detector electronic control unit 13 detects the left and right movement of the user's foot, and then the other infrared detector detects the left and right movement of the user's foot within the set time, The actuator 14 is operated to control the trunk to be opened.

As mentioned, the actuator 14 is driven in accordance with the signal of the infrared sensor electronic control unit 13 to open the trunk.

The first infrared ray detector 11 and the second infrared ray detector 12 are preferably spaced apart from each other by about 400 mm in order to independently detect the movement of the user's foot (see R1 of FIG. 2). An appropriate range for signal detection of the infrared detectors 11 and 12 is set to about 300 mm from the bottom of the rear bumper to the ground (see R2 in FIG. 2).

This is set in consideration of the distance from the bottom of the rear bumper to the ground in the case of a general passenger car, it is possible to change the setting according to the situation.

Hereinafter, a process of automatically opening a trunk for a vehicle according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 3 and 4.

As shown in the drawing, when the user inputs a signal of the smart key to the smart key electronic control unit 10 by pressing a predetermined button of the smart key, the smart key electronic control unit 10 receives the signal of the smart key. Check the input and activate the infrared detector electronic control unit 13.

The activated infrared detector electronic control unit 13 causes the first infrared detector 11 and the second infrared detector 12 to operate in a signal waiting state so as to detect a user's motion.

When the user moves the foot left and right under the first infrared detector 11, the first infrared detector 11 detects the user's motion, and the second infrared detector 12 within the next set time (for example, 3 seconds). When the user moves the foot from side to side again from below, the second infrared ray detector 12 detects the user's motion, and when all of the detection signals are input to the infrared ray detector electronic control unit 13, the actuator 14 is activated to operate the trunk. Is automatically opened, and the signal waiting state of the infrared detectors 11 and 12 is released after the trunk is opened.

In this case, the order of user recognition of the first infrared detector 11 and the second infrared detector 12 may be changed, except that any one infrared ray detector exceeds a predetermined time (for example, three seconds) after detecting a user's motion. In this case, the infrared detector electronic control unit 13 blocks the signal, thereby making it impossible to recognize the user motion of the infrared detectors 11 and 12.

That is, when the other one infrared ray detector does not detect the user's motion within a specified time, automatic opening of the trunk is not performed, and the first infrared ray detector 11 and the second infrared ray detector 12 are in a signal waiting state again.

In addition, the infrared detectors 11 and 12 recognize the user's motion only when the user who holds the smart key moves his foot left and right under the rear bumper, that is, under the infrared detectors 11 and 12 in close proximity to the vehicle.

As described above, according to the method for automatically opening the trunk of a vehicle according to the present invention, the user can conveniently open the trunk without using his or her hand, and since the hand is free, there is no hassle of having to put down the luggage and open the trunk by hand. Can be removed. In particular, in the case of a vehicle with a large load such as an SUV vehicle, a greater effect can be obtained.

In addition, by removing the hassle, such as having to board the interior of the vehicle for the operation of opening the trunk, it is possible to increase the customer satisfaction and improve the convenience of use and productability.
