도 23은 대조군 및 CaFAF1-과발현 애기장대 식물의 뿌리를 제거하여 탈수 스트레스 처리를 가한 후 잎 표면 온도를 확인하기 위해 열 화상 이미지를 촬영한 결과이다.
도 24는 CaFAF1 침묵에 의한 식물체의 염분 스트레스 내성 변화를 확인하기 위해, agroinfiltration 2주 후 정상 환경에서 배양된 대조군 및 CaFAF1-침묵 고추 식물을 물, 200 mM NaCl 용액, 또는 250 mM NaCl 용액이 담긴 플라스틱 용기에서 배양한 뒤 표현형을 관찰한 결과이다.
도 25는 대조군 및 CaFAF1-침묵 고추 식물에 250 mM의 NaCl 용액을 처리한 후 스트레스 관련 유전자 CaDREB1, CaOSR1, CaP5CS, 및 CaRAB18의 발현을 qRT-PCR로 확인한 결과이다. 염분 스트레스 처리 0시간 시점의 대조군 식물의 각 유전자들의 발현을 1.0으로 설정하였으며, CaACT1 유전자에 대해 발현 값을 정규화하여 상대적 발현량을 나타냈다.
도 26은 3주령의 대조군 및 CaFAF1-침묵 고추 식물에 200 mM의 NaCl 용액을 처리한 뒤 전해질 누출 정도를 측정한 결과이다.
도 27은 3주령의 대조군 및 CaFAF1-침묵 고추 식물에 200 mM의 NaCl 용액을 처리한 뒤 지질 과산화 산물인 말론알데히드 수준을 측정한 결과이다.

Claims (15)
- 서열번호 1의 아미노산 서열로 이루어진 CaFAF1 (Capsicum annuum FANTASTIC FOUR 1) 단백질의 발현 억제제를 유효성분으로 포함하는, 식물체의 건조 스트레스 저항성 증진용 조성물로서,
상기 발현 억제제는 CaFAF1 유전자의 서열, 상기 CaFAF1 유전자의 서열에 상보적인 서열, 또는 상기 CaFAF1 유전자 서열의 단편에 대한 mRNA에 상보적으로 결합하여 발현을 억제하는 siRNA (small interference RNA), shRNA (short hairpin RNA), miRNA (microRNA), 리보자임 (ribozyme), DNAzyme, PNA (peptide nucleic acids), 및 안티센스 뉴클레오티드 중 어느 하나인 것인, 식물체의 건조 스트레스 저항성 증진용 조성물.

- 제14항의 방법에 의해 염 스트레스 저항성이 증진된 형질전환 식물체.
