Abstract
Description
Claims (4)
- 기재와 상기 기재 상에 형성된 피막을 포함하는 절삭 공구로서,
상기 기재는, 30∼80 체적%의 입방정 질화붕소와 결합재를 포함하는 소결체이며,
상기 결합재는, 주기율표 4족 원소, 5족 원소, 6족 원소 및 알루미늄으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 적어도 1종의 원소와, 붕소, 탄소, 질소 및 산소로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 적어도 1종의 원소로 이루어진 화합물을 적어도 1종 포함하고,
상기 피막과 접하는 상기 기재의 표면은, 상기 입방정 질화붕소로 이루어진 복수의 볼록부와, 상기 결합재로 이루어진 복수의 오목부를 가지며,
상기 피막은, M1xL1y(단, x 및 y는 원자비를 나타내고, 0<x≤1.2, y=1이며, M1은, 주기율표 4족 원소, 5족 원소, 6족 원소, 알루미늄 및 규소로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 적어도 1종의 원소이고, L1은, 붕소, 탄소, 질소 및 산소로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 적어도 1종의 원소임)라고 하는 조성을 갖는 층을 적어도 1층 포함하고,
상기 피막과 접하는 상기 기재 표면의 표면 거칠기 Rsub는, 0.1∼0.4 ㎛이며,
상기 피막 최외측 표면의 표면 거칠기 Rsurf는, 0∼0.15 ㎛이고,
상기 피막 최외측 표면의 표면 거칠기 Rasurf는, 0∼0.1 ㎛이며,
상기 피막과 접하는 상기 기재 표면의 표면 거칠기 Rsub는, 상기 피막 최외측 표면의 표면 거칠기 Rsurf보다도 크고,
상기 표면 거칠기 Rsurf는 주사형 전자현미경에 의해 측정되는 피막 최외측 표면의 표면 거칠기 R을 나타내며, 상기 표면 거칠기 Rasurf는 침 접촉식 표면 형상 측정기에 의해 측정되는 피막 최외측 표면의 표면 거칠기 Ra를 나타내는 것인 절삭 공구. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 피막의 두께는, 0.2∼10 ㎛인 것인 절삭 공구.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 피막과 접하는 상기 기재 표면의 표면 거칠기 Rsub는, 0.1∼0.15 ㎛이고,
상기 피막 최외측 표면의 표면 거칠기 Rsurf는, 0∼0.08 ㎛인 것인 절삭 공구. - 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 소결체는, 65∼75 체적%의 입방정 질화붕소를 포함하는 것인 절삭 공구.
