Abstract
본 발명의 귀금속 촉매는 글리세롤의 탈수반응 및 수소첨가 반응에 적용되어 글리세롤의 전환율과 1,2-프로판디올의 선택도 및 수율을 높게 유지하므로, 바이오디젤 공정에서 부생되는 글리세롤을 고부가 가치의 1,2-프로판디올으로 전환하는 공정용 촉매로 유용하다.

Claims (7)
- 마그네슘과 알루미늄을 포함하는 하이드로탈사이트 구조에 ⅡA족 및 ⅡB족 금속원소를 수열합성법으로 공침시켜 제조된 하기 화학식 1로 표시되는 복합금속산화물 담체에, 표준주기율표상의 ⅧB족 원소 중에서 선택된 1종 또는 2종의 귀금속 원소가 담지되어 있는 1,2-프로판디올 합성용 귀금속 촉매 :

상기 화학식 1에서, A는 칼슘, 스트론튬, 바륨, 및 라듐 중에서 선택되는 ⅡA족 금속 원소이고; B는 아연, 카드뮴, 및 수은 중에서 선택되는 ⅡB족 금속 원소이고; x, y, 및 z는 각각의 금속 원소의 알루미늄(Al)에 대한 몰비로서 0<x≤1, 0<y≤1, 2≤z≤4 이고, 단 x 및 y가 동시에 0인 경우는 제외한다.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 ⅧB족 원소는 루테늄, 로듐, 백금, 팔라듐, 및 이리듐 중에서 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 귀금속 촉매.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 ⅧB족 원소의 담지량은 복합금속산화물 담체 중량을 기준으로 0.1 내지 20 중량% 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 귀금속 촉매.
- 알루미늄 화합물과 마그네슘 화합물을 탄산 화합물과 함께 공침하여 하이드로탈사이트 구조를 형성한 뒤, 여기에 ⅡA족 금속 화합물과 ⅡB족 금속 화합물을 120℃ 내지 230℃ 온도로 1 내지 10 시간동안 수열합성법으로 공침시켜 담체 전구체를 제조하는 과정;
상기 담체 전구체를 건조 및 소성하여 하기 화학식 1의 조성을 갖는 복합금속산화물 담체를 제조하는 과정; 및
상기 복합금속산화물 담체에, 표준 주기율표상의 ⅧB족 귀금속 화합물을 함침법으로 담지시켜 귀금속 촉매를 제조하는 과정;

상기 화학식 1에서, A, B, x, y, 및 z는 각각 상기 청구항 1에서 정의한 바와 같다.
- 청구항 4에 있어서,
상기 ⅧB족 귀금속은 루테늄, 로듐, 백금, 팔라듐, 및 이리듐 중에서 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 1,2-프로판디올 합성용 귀금속 촉매의 제조방법.
- 청구항 4 또는 5항에 있어서,
상기 ⅧB족 귀금속의 담지량이 복합금속산화물 담체 중량을 기준으로 0.1 내지 20 중량% 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 귀금속 촉매의 제조방법.
- 상기 청구항 1 내지 3항 중에서 선택된 어느 한 항의 귀금속 촉매 하에서, 글리세롤을 120℃ 내지 230℃ 온도 및 10 내지 80 bar 압력 조건에서 탈수반응 및 수소첨가 반응을 수행하여 제조하는 것을 특징으로 하는 1,2-프로판디올의 제조방법.
