Description
Claims (13)
- 제1기판 및 제2기판;상기 제1기판 및 제2기판 사이에 형성된 액정층;상기 제1기판 상에 종횡으로 형성되어 화소영역을 정의하는 복수개의 게이트라인 및 데이터라인;상기 게이트라인 및 데이터라인의 교차점에 형성된 박막트랜지스터;상기 박막트랜지스터와 연결되며 상기 화소영역에 형성된 화소전극;상기 게이트라인, 데이터라인, 및 박막트랜지스터가 형성된 영역에 형성된 게이트절연막 및 보호막;상기 제2기판 상에 형성된 공통전극; 및상기 공통전극 위에, 상기 제1기판 및 제 2기판 사이의 간격만큼의 길이로 상기 화소영역, 및 상기 게이트라인과 데이터라인이 중첩되는 영역에 대응하도록 형성된 유전체 구조물을 포함하고, 상기 게이트 라인, 데이터 라인 및 박막 트랜지스터가 형성된 영역 이외의 영역은 상기 게이트 절연막 및 보호막의 비형성영역인 것을 포함하는 액정표시소자.
- 삭제
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 화소전극을 둘러싸도록 상기 화소전극과 다른 층에 보조전극이 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 화소전극 내부에 전계유도창이 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 제 4항에 있어서,상기 화소전극과 다른층에 형성되며, 상기 화소전극을 둘러싸고, 상기 전계유도창에 대응되는 영역에 보조전극이 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 제 3항 또는 제 5항에 있어서,상기 보조전극은 게이트라인, 또는 데이터라인과 동일층에 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 제 3항 또는 제 5항에 있어서,상기 보조전극은 ITO(indium tin oxide), Al, Mo, Cr, Ta, Ti, Cu 또는 Al 합금으로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 어느 하나의 물질로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 게이트라인과 데이터라인이 중첩되는 영역에 대응하도록 형성된 유전체 구조물과 상기 화소영역에 형성된 유전체 구조물은 서로 연결된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 게이트라인과 데이터라인이 중첩되는 영역에 대응하도록 형성된 유전체 구조물과 상기 화소영역에 형성된 유전체 구조물은 서로 연결되지 않은 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 액정층의 액정은 VA(Vertical Alignment) 액정에 카이랄 도펀트가 포함되어 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 제1기판 및 제2기판 중 적어도 하나의 기판에 배향막이 형성되어 있으며, 상기 배향막은 배향처리되거나 또는 배향처리되지 않은 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
