Description
Claims (16)
- 제 1 방향으로 배열된 데이터 라인들;상기 제 1 방향과 다른 제 2 방향으로 배열된 스캔 라인들; 및상기 데이터 라인들과 상기 스캔 라인들이 교차하는 발광 영역들에 형성되는 복수의 서브 픽셀들을 포함하되,상기 데이터 라인들 중 제 1 최외각 데이터 라인에 상응하는 서브 픽셀은 기설정된 제 1 휘도보다 작은 휘도를 가지고 발광하는 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 소자.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 데이터 라인들 중 제 2 최외각 데이터 라인에 상응하는 서브 픽셀은 기설정된 제 2 휘도보다 작은 휘도를 가지고 발광하는 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 소자.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 제 2 휘도는 상기 제 1 휘도와 다른 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 소자.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 발광 영역에 형성된 서브 픽셀들에 상응하는 픽셀들은 화이트로 발광하는 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 소자.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 발광 소자는,상기 스캔 라인들에 스캔 신호들을 제공하는 스캔 구동부; 및상기 스캔 신호들에 동기된 데이터 전류들을 상기 데이터 라인들에 제공하는 데이터 구동부를 더 포함하되,상기 제 1 최외각 데이터 라인에 제공되는 데이터 전류는 기설정된 크기보다 작은 크기를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 소자.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 발광 소자는 유기 전계 발광 소자인 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 소자.
- 제 1 방향으로 배열된 애노드전극층들;상기 애노드전극층들 중 제 1 최외각 애노드전극층의 외곽에 배열된 제 1 더미 애노드전극층;상기 제 1 방향과 다른 제 2 방향으로 배열된 캐소드전극층들;상기 애노드전극층들과 상기 캐소드전극층들이 교차하는 영역들에 형성된 복수의 서브 픽셀들; 및상기 제 1 더미 애노드전극층과 상기 캐소드전극층들이 교차하는 영역들에 형성된 복수의 제 1 더미 픽셀들을 포함하되,적어도 하나의 제 1 더미 픽셀은 화이트 발광하는 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 소자.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 서브 픽셀들은 디스플레이 영역에 위치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 소자.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 발광 소자는,상기 애노드전극층들 중 제 2 최외각 애노드전극층의 외곽에 배열된 제 2 더미 애노드전극층; 및상기 제 2 더미 애노드전극층과 상기 캐소드전극층들이 교차하는 영역들에 형성된 복수의 제 2 더미 픽셀들을 더 포함하되,적어도 하나의 제 2 더미 픽셀은 화이트 발광하는 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 소자.
- 제 9 항에 있어서, 상기 제 2 더미 픽셀의 계조는 상기 제 2 더미 픽셀 및 상기 제 2 최외각 애노드전극층에 상응하는 서브 픽셀의 계조에 따라 변화되는 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 소자.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 더미 픽셀의 계조는 상기 제 1 더미 픽셀 및 상기 제 1 최외각 애노드전극층에 상응하는 서브 픽셀의 계조에 따라 변화되는 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 소자.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 서브 픽셀들은 레드 서브 픽셀들, 그린 서브 픽셀들, 블루 서브 픽셀들 및 화이트 서브 픽셀들을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 소자.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 발광 소자는 유기 전계 발광 소자인 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 소자.
- 데이터 라인들과 스캔 라인들이 교차하는 발광 영역들에 형성된 복수의 서브 픽셀들을 포함하는 발광 소자를 구동하는 방법에 있어서,제 1 디스플레이 데이터를 제 2 디스플레이 데이터로 변환하는 단계; 및상기 제 2 디스플레이 데이터에 상응하는 데이터 전류들을 상기 데이터 라인들에 제공하는 단계를 포함하되,상기 데이터 라인들 중 제 1 최외각 데이터 라인에 제공되는 데이터 전류는 기설정된 제 1 계조보다 작은 크기를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 소자 구동 방법.
- 제 14 항에 있어서, 제 2 최외각 데이터 라인들에 제공되는 데이터 전류는 기설정된 제 2 계조보다 작은 크기를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 소자 구동 방법.
- 제 14 항에 있어서, 상기 제 2 계조는 상기 제 1 계조와 다른 크기를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 소자 구동 방법.
