Claims (14)
- 상부 편광판과;상기 편광판의 하부에 위치한 상부기판과;상기 상부 기판과 소정간격 이격하여 구성되고 투과부와 반사부로 정의된 하부기판과;상기 상부기판과 하부기판 사이에 배치되고, 전압 무인가시에 수평배향 되어 있는 액정층과;상기 액정층과 상부 편광판의 사이에 위치하고, 상기 액정층에 최대구동전압을 인가할 시에 남아있는 위상지연값(α)을 보상하기 위하여 보정된 상부 위상차필름(QWP1)과;상기 하부기판의 하부에 위치한 하부 위상차필름(QWP2)과;상기 하부 위상차필름(QWP2)의 하부에 위치하고, 광축이 상기 상부 편광판과 수직하게 구성된 하부 편광판과;상기 하부 편광판의 하부에 위치한 배광장치를 포함하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 액정층은 전압 무인가시에 λ/4 + β의 위상차값을 갖음을 특징으로 하여, 상기 β는 상기 액정층이 λ/4 위상차 값을 갖을 경우에 최대 구동전압을 인가하여 남아 있는 액정층의 위상차값인 반사투과형 액정표시장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 상부 위상차필름(QWP1)은, 상기 투과율을 대입한 투과식 "T=sin22Φsin2(πΔnd2/λ)(여기서 T는 투과량, Δn은 위상차필름의 복굴절률, Φ는 위상차필름의 광축과 편광판의 투과축이 이루는각 )"을 통해 보상값 d2의 값을 구하고, 이를 λ/4의 위상차를 가지는 d3의 두께에 더하여 d3+d2로 구성된 반사투과형 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 상부 위상차필름(QWP1)과 상기 하부 위상차필름(QWP2)은 광축이 서로 수직하게 구성된 반사투과형 액정표시장치.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 하부 위상차필름과 상기 액정층의 광축방향이 평행하게 구성된 반사투과형 액정표시장치.
- 상부 편광판과;상기 상부 편광판의 하부에 위치하고 270nm의 위상값을 가지는 상부 제 1 위상차필름(HWP1)과;상기 상부 편광판의 하부에 위치하는 상부기판과;상기 상부기판과 소정간격 이격되고 투과부와 반사부로 정의된 하부기판과;상기 상부기판과 하부기판 사이에 배치되고, 전압 무인가시에 수평배향되어 있는 액정층과;상기 제 1 위상차 필름과 액정층 사이에 위치하고 , 상기 액정층에 최대 구동전압을 인가할 시에 액정층에 남아 있는 위상지연값(α)을 보상하기 위하여 보정된 상부 제 2 위상차 필름과;상기 하부기판의 하부에 위치하고, 상기 액정층의 위상값을 보상하기 위한 두께로 구성된 하부 제 2 위상차필름(QWP2)과;상기 하부 제 2 위상차필름(QWP2)의 하부에 위치하고, 270nm의 위상값을 가지는 하부 제 1 위상차필름(HWP2)과;상기 하부 제 1 위상차 필름(HWP2)의 하부에 위치하고, 광축이 상기 상부 편광판과 수직하게 구성된 하부 편광판과;상기 하부 편광판의 하부에 위치하는 배광장치를포함하는 반사투과형 액정표시장치.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 액정층은, 전압 무인가시에 반사부와 투과부가 각각 λ/4와 λ/2의 위상차값을 갖기 위한 두께가 반사부에서 d, 투과부에서 2d일 경우에, 최대 구동전압을 인가한 상태에서 상기 반사부와 투과부에서의 각 투과율을 구하고, 상기 투과율을 투과식 "T=sin22Φsin2(πΔnd1/λ)(여기서 T는 투과량, Δn은 액정의 복굴절률, Φ는 액정의 광축과 편광판의 투과축이 이루는각 )"에 대입하여 d1(α)와 d2(γ)를 구하고(d1(α)는 반사부의 위상차값이 α일때의 두께, d2(γ)는 투과부의 위상차값이 γ일 경우의 두께, 이때 γ =α+ β), 이를 통해 반사부는 d+d1(α)의 두께로 투과부는 2d+d2(γ)의 두께로 구성된 반사투과형 액정표시장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 상부 제 2 위상차필름(QWP1)은, 상기 실험을 통해 얻어진 상기 투과율을 대입한 투과식 "T=sin22Φsin2(πΔnd2/λ)(여기서 T는 투과량, Δn은 위상차필름의 복굴절률, π는 위상차필름의 투과축과 편광판의 투과축이 이루는각 )"을 통해 보상값 d2=(d1(α)+ d3(β))의 값을 구하고, 이를 λ/4=140nm의 위상차를 가지는 d4의 두께에 더하여 d4+d1(α)의 두께로 구성된 반사투과형 액정표시장치.
- 제 9 항에 있어서,상기 하부 제 2 위상차필름은 d4-d3(β)의 두께로 구성된 반사투과형 액정표시장치.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 상부 제 1 위상차필름과 상기 하부 제 1 위상차필름은 광축이 서로 수직하게 구성된 반사투과형 액정표시장치 제조방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 상부 제 2 위상차필름과 상기 하부 제 2 위상차필름은 광축이 서로 수직하게 구성된 반사투과형 액정표시장치 제조방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 하부 제 2 위상차 필름과 상기 액정층의 광축이 서로 평행하게 구성된 반사투과형 액정표시장치 제조방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 액정층은, 전압 무인가시에 λ/4의 위상차를 갖는 d의 두께를 가질 때, 최대 구동전압을 인가하여 투과율을 구하고, 상기 투과율을 투과식 "T=sin22Φsin2(πΔnd1/λ)(여기서 T는 투과량, Δn은 액정의 복굴절률, 는 Φ는 액정의 광축과 편광판의 투과축이 이루는각 )"에 대입하여 d1을 구하여, 이를 통해 상기 액정층이 d+d1의 두께로 구성된 반사투과형 액정표시장치.
