Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide the titled agent having each specific value of durability to wear and glass transition temperature capable of producing glossy coating film when coated on rubber products, made up of an emulsion prepared by copolymerization of monomer component containing alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid etc. and polyurethane emulsion. CONSTITUTION:The objective agent made up to (A) an emulsion prepared by copolymerization of monomer component comprising as the essential constituent(s), an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or 1-22C alkyl group-contg. (meth)acrylic alkyl ester and (B) a polyurethane emulsion. This agent has the following characteristics: 1. durability to wear (a blackness of the film produced by coating said agent on a rubber plate is measured using a Macbeth densitometer and this film is rubbed with a No.2 filter paper fifty times, then the resultant blackness is measured again. The retention of the blackness thus determined is defined as durability to wear) ... >=80% and 2. glass transition temperature ... -60-20 deg.C.
