Abstract

PURPOSE:To expand a regulating range by arranging regulating resistors at least on two parts, a part whose voltage is boosted in accordance with the increment of a resistor value and a part whose voltage is dropped in accordance with the increment of the resistor value. CONSTITUTION:A voltage regulating circuit has 1st and 2nd current branches which are mutually connected, the 1st current branch is constituted of a serial circuit consisting of a transistor (TR) 5 and a regulating resistor 5 connected between a power supply 7 and a constant current source 3 and the 2nd current branch is constituted of a serial circuit consisting of a constant current source 3', a regulating resistor 5' and a TR 6'. An input signal to an input terminal 1 is converted into a voltage by a processing circuit 2, the voltage is impressed to the base of the TR 6, a node 9 between the resistor 5 and the constant current source 3 is connected to the base of the TR 6' in the current branch and the voltage is outputted from an output terminal 4 through an amplifier 8. Since respective resistors 5, 5' can be regulated so that the output voltage is boosted by one of the resistors and dropped by the other, the output can be properly regulated.
