Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate residual air bubbles in a cell by oscillating a liquid substance for display, such as liquid crystal, by an ultrasonic wave when injecting the liquid substance into the display cell. CONSTITUTION:A heated cell substrate 5 is placed in a bell jar 1 and after the bell jar is evacuated, the preheated substrate 5 is dipped in a liquid substance 4 in an injection dish 3. The bell jar 1 is released from the vacuum and the liquid substance 4 is injected into the cell substrate 5. In the injection, the liquid crystal substance 4 is oscillated by an ultrasonic wave oscillation generator 2 in contact with the external wall of the dish 3, so each molecule of the liquid crystal substance 4 obtains kinetic energy to charge every nook and corner of the cell substrate 5 are charged. Consequently, no air bubble resides in the cell and the process of charging is excellent, thereby shortening injection time.
