Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve capacity and stability of a rotary compressor by providing a cylinder with a liquid-cooling-medium pouring port on the high pressure side and a gas-cooling-medium pouring port on the low pressure side so as to be injected alternarely and to attain each matching of flow rate.
CONSTITUTION: During the operation of a rotary compressor 1, because a gas and liquid separator 10 is connected with a gas injection pipe 13 and a liquid injection pipe 14, gas cooling medium flows at low pressure through the pipe 13 and is injected at the opening time through a port 6 into a cylinder 2. On the other hand, liquid cooling medium flows at high pressure through the pipe 14 and is injected at the opening time into the cylinder 2. In this way, because th ports 6 and 7 are opened or closed as a rotor 3 rotates but they are so provided as to not be opened at the same time, the gas cooling medium and the liquid cooling medium are injected alternately and each matching of low rate can be attained. Thus, the compressor capacity and stability can be improved.
