Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten the car height adjusting time from the lowest car height limit by connecting the air passage between the car height setter and the compressed air tank to an air compressor separately and closing a valve between the tank and said connection when the pressure in the setter exceeds the pressure in the tank. CONSTITUTION:When a detector 4 detects the car height is below the lowest allowable limit a solenoid valve 14 is opened and a solenoid valve 13 is also opened if the pressure in a car height setter 3 is lower than the pressure in a tank 8 to send the compressed air in the tank 8 to the setter 3 and the valve 13 is closed when the pressure in the setter 3 exceeds the pressure in the tank 8 thus supplying the compressed air from a compressor 16 only to the setter 3 to quickly adjust the car height thereby shortening the time required for the car height adjustment from the lowest allowable car height limit.
