PURPOSE:To make a radiotelephony exchange for a rural place small-sized, light and economical, by omitting plural trunk units which have been used up to this time. CONSTITUTION:A master station telephone exchange EX is connected with a radiotelephony exchange for a rural place RSS through a channel. This connection is executed through subscriber circuit interfaces LC0-LCn, and connected to CODEC0-n. A signal of the channel is A/D converted by each CODEC, and is converted to a multiplex digital signal by a digital switch DSW which is controlled by a CPU. This multiplex digital signal is sent out to a base station radio equipment BASESTN, and D/A converted by a terminal CODEC through a prescribed terminal radio equipment SUBSET0-n, and sent to a subscriber's telephone set. Transmission from a subscriber's telephone set is also transmitted to the master station exchange in the same way.
