Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve heat radiation characteristic of a heat accumulation material for a heater utilizing latent heat of solidification, by compounding sodium acetate trihydrate, magnesium acetate tetrahydrate, an inorganic material such as diatom earth, hydroxyethylcellulose and water in a given ratio. CONSTITUTION:A heat accumulation material is composed of 79.0-94.5wt% sodium acetate trihydrate, 0.2-5.0wt% magnesium acetate tetrahydrate, 0.2- 3.0wt% inorganic material comprising at least one member selected from among diatom earth, bentonite and kaolin, 0.05-1.0wt% hydroxyethylcellulose, and 5.0-12.0wt% water. Irrespective of progress of a fusion-solidification cycle, heat radiation characteristic is not varied becuase of addition of the above hydroxyethylcellulose and an increase in supercoolability can be inhibited. With this composition, heat radiation characteristic of the heat accumulation material for a heater can be improved.
