Abstract

PURPOSE:To exactly compensate a vertical aperture, by shifting the phase of other video signal by 1 horizontal scanning period without using a delaying circuit, against the phase of a video signal being a source for generating an aperture compensating signal. CONSTITUTION:A G-signal of a video amplifying circuit 6 is inputted to an aperture compensating circuit 19, and a video signal (a) which has been delayed by 1 horizontal scanning period, and an aperture compensating signal (b) are applied to an adder 9. The aperture compensating signal (b) is applied to adders 7, 8, as well, and the video signals of each channel become signals whose aperture has been compensated. A pulse obtained from a horizontal driving pulse monostable multivibrator circuit 22 from a synchronizing signal generator 16 is provided to a decoding counter circuit 22, and the (n)-1-th and (n)-th horizontal periods are obtaind from the beginning of the vertical blanking period. 1 horizontal scanning period delay of a vertical start pulse compensates phase lag of the aperture compensating circuit 19.
