Abstract
PURPOSE: To cause a small amount of fine particles of a liquid to uniformly adhere to an object to be coated as well as reduce the adherence of the fine particles to the inner walls of a container by a method in which a flux is finely divided into fine particles in a container and the fine particles are adhered to the object by means of an air flow from a porous plate.
CONSTITUTION: Wen applying a high frequency power to supersonic atomizer 1, an atomizing surface 4 undergors a supersonic vibration. Air is flowed along the supersonic atomizer 1 by an air blower 19, jetted into a container 12, and at the same time, jetted also through an air path and the small holes of a porous plate 14. Then, a cock 24 is opened and a flux 26 in a tank 25 is directed to the atomizing surface 4 for atomization, where the fine particles of the flux generated in the container 12 are fed upwards by means of air flow, jetted from the opening 13, and collide with and are adhered to a printed plate 22. The fine particles of the flux adhered to the inner walls of the porous plate 14 drop onto the bottom of the container 12 and then are discharged from a pipe 16 to a lower tank 17.
