Abstract
PURPOSE: To extract mists effectively even at atomization in great capacity and improve atomizing efficiency by 20W30% as compared to conventional devices by a method wherein a choke forming a ventilation passage with a clearance between the surface of a liquid and the passage in the same axis as an ultrasonic vibrator is provided at the bottom of an inner cylinder.
CONSTITUTION: The ultrasonic atomizer is formed by providing a liquid vessel 2, which is connected to a fan and whose inside is equipped with an ultrasonic vibrator 3, an inner cylinder 4, which is located at an upper portion of the liquid vessel 2 and makes up an atomizing chamber 5, and the choke 8, such as a nozzle, etc., which constitutes a ventilation passage 7 keeping the clearance between the surface of a liquid and the passage in the same axis as the ultrasonic vibrator 3 at the bottom. When generating ultrasonic waves in the liquid 1 by means of the ultrasonic vibrator 3, a liquid column 12 is produced, and a large number of liquid minute particles fly out from a portion near the bottom. When air is sent into a wind box 6 by means of the fan 11, the air passes through the ventilation passage 7 and flows along liquids 12 according to a stream line of the nozzle 8, and the atomized liquid minute particles are discharged from a discharging port 13.
