Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent boiling of a liquid to be heated and at the same time, prevent decomposition of a working liquid inside a heat pipe by making an exothermic part thermally contact an exothermic plate during an abnormal temperature rise at a heat exchanger and an exothermic part.
CONSTITUTION: An exothermic part 2 for a heat pipe 4 is provided inside an insulation material 10 and a pipe 5 is introduced into the said exothermic part to form a heat exchanger for a liquid to be heated. Then it is arranged so that heat on the exothermic part 2 may be transferred to a bimetal 17 by winding the fixed end of the bimetal 17 around the exothermic part 2 of the heat pipe. Under this design, during an abnormal temperature increase on the heat pipe 4, the bimetal 17 is bent, thermally contacting an exothermic part 16, so that the coverheating of the heat pipe 4 is prevented.
