Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a transmission error every small rotating angle by computing actual advance and delay for constant angle displacement with reference to the input axis and output axis. CONSTITUTION:Rotary encoders 2, 2' are attached to a rotating shaft (input axis) 11 of a driving gear 13 and a rotating shaft 12 (output axis) of a follower gear 14 respectively every time of rotating by a small constant angle, pulse signal is generated. To the reference pulse generators 3, 3', the output pulse signal of the rotary encoders 2, 2' is introduced, the reference pulse having a frequency corresponding to a center frequency of the pulse signal is formed and fed to the phase difference arithmetic units 4, 4'. By the phase difference arithmetic unit 4, the actual angle displacement advance and delay with respect to a constant angle displacement of the input and output axes 11, 12 are obtained. The ratio of the angle displacement of the input and output axes 11, 12 is multiplied by the output of the phase difference arithmetic unit 4' and then, the difference between the product and the output of the phase difference arithmetic unit 4 is computed by the subtractor 7.
