Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the printability and adhesive properties of a thermoplastic resin, by adding to the thermosetting resin, an antistatic agent comprising a hydroxyethyl group-containing amine compound and a glycerin monoalkyl (or alkenyl) ether.
CONSTITUTION: Titled resin composition is obtained by mixing (a) 100pts.wt. of a thermosetting resin such as polyethylene or polypropylene, (b) a hydroxyethyl group-containing amine compound represented by formula I, wherein R1 is an 8W 22C alkyl or alkenyl group and m and n are each 1W10, (c) a glycerin monoalkyl (or alkenyl) ether represented by formula II, wherein R2 is a 6W28C alkyl or alkenyl group so that the total amount of components (b) and (c) is about 0.05W 2pts.wt. and the weight ratio of the component (b) to component (c), b/c, is 8/2W 2/8, pref., 6/4W3/7.
