Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate contact between a driving section and slurry and wear, by connecting the slurry phase and fluid phase in a pair of chambers to each other through an oil pump.
CONSTITUTION: Vanes 15 are appropriately rotated while an oil pump 18 is actuated. When the vanes 15 are located in positions shown by full lines in the figure, oil flows from the oil pump 10 into an oil phase 2 through ports 14c, 14b, 6a and slurry is discharged from a slurry phase 3 into a discharge pipe 9 and the oil phase 2 in a chamber 1b is sucked toward the suction port 11 of the oil pump so that other slurry is sucked through an inlet port 4b. When the vanes 15 are rotated into positions shown by dotted lines, oil flows into the oil phase 2 in the chamber 1b and slurry is moved out to the discharge pipe 9 through an outlet port 5b and other slurry is sucked thrugh an inlet port 4a.
