Abstract
PURPOSE:To generate desired waveforms accurately with a device of low cost, by processing the parallel output counting an input pulse after separating it into bits of upper/lower ranks and making D/A conversion by the use of a code conversion circuit. CONSTITUTION:An input pulse from a terminal is counted at a counter consisting of FFs 10-14 to separate it into the upper/lower rank bits, and the output of the 1st processig circuit consisting of exclusive logical sum gates 15-17 and an inverter 19 is inputted to a code converter 6, where a given code conversion is made and the result is inputted to the 2nd processing circuit consisting of exclusive logical sum gates 18, 60-67, and an inverter 68. After a given processing is made at the 2nd processing circuit depending on the state of the upper rank bit, the result it inputted to a DA converter for DA conversion and output from a terminal 5 via an LPF3. Since a converter 6 can produce a digital signal having lapse of amplitude nearest to the desired analog waveform, allowing to produce accurate waveform less in the waveform distortion and level variance with a simple LPF.
