Abstract
PURPOSE: To effectively take out combustion energy by forming a cavity as a gas collecting chamber in the internal periphery of a cylinder, putting a rotor inside the cylinder, and fixing an air sealing filler into the rotor so as to tightly contact the internal surface of the cylinder.
CONSTITUTION: A cavity is formed as a gas collecting chamber 3 in the internal periphery of a cylinder A and a rotor B is centered inside the cylinder A with a bracket not illustrated in the drawing. And an air sealing filler 2 is fixed into a recess formed in an external area of the rotor B so as to tightly contact the internal surface of the cylinder A. When the rotor B is turned in the direction of an arrow with an actuator valve E in contact with the external surface of the rotor B, an intake valve 4 is opened while a compression valve D stands still, thereby sucking an inflammable gas. For a subsequent stroke at which the intake valve 4 is closed, with the valve D kept in tight contact with the external surface of the rotor B, an exhaust port 5 closed, and the valve E standing still, the inflammable gas is compressed without a leak because the sealing filler in the rotor B covers the entire open area of the gas collecting chanber 3, and ignited by an ignition plug to generate an explosive energy, which turns the rotor B in the direction of an arrow.
