Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the magnetic toner from scattering by making enclosing members, which enclose magnetic rollers, of a ferromagnetic material. CONSTITUTION:The figure shows a cleaning device which encloses two magnetic pole rollers 3 as magnetic force sources with enclosing members 2, wherein said members 2 are made of a ferromagnetic material such as permalloy. With this constitution, magnetic poles are induced in the members 2 in opposition to the rollers 3 and the force toward the inside direction is acted upon the magnetic toner by these opposing magnetic fields, whereby the scattering of the toner is prevented.
