Abstract
PURPOSE: To accelerate responsibility of heat transmission and to increase heat collecting efficiency even when heat collecting quantities change exceedingly by a method wherein operating liquid retaining part which holds a part of operating liquid is provided on the inner surface of the heat collecting part of a heat pipe.
CONSTITUTION: The heat collecting part 2 of the heat pipe is arranged on the water level at a position lower than the radiating part 4 of the heat pipe, the operating liquid 8 is accumulated at the bottom of the heat collecting part 2 of the deaired heat pipe and keeps the wall wet. A spiral coil 9 touches internally the inner surface of the heat collecting part 2 of the heat pipe and some part 8a of the operating liquid can be retained here. Since the radiating part 4 of the heat pip is provided with no operating liquid 8 retaining structure, heat transmission is carried out in one way from the heat collecting part to the radiating one. When the heat collecting part cannot obtain solar heat, heat is not radiated by the operation of the heat pipe from a heat medium 5 at a high temperature to the heat collecting part 2.
