Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a ferromagnetic magnet by magnetizing the magnet by employing a magnetizing yoke having a magnetizing width corresponding to the width of magnetic pole obtained by a magnetic orientation and a magnetizing yoke having wider magnetizing width than the magnetizing width of the previous yoke, thereby improving the density of the magnetic poles at the magnetic pole. CONSTITUTION:A magnet 5 is magnetized by two types of magnetizing yokes, one of which has, as designated by 6, a predetermined magnetizing width B, and the other of which has, as designated by 7, wider magnetizing width than the magnetizing width B of the yoke 6, and is of rolled shape. Since the magnet 5 is thus magnetized at both its magnetic pole and its interpole portion on the surface thereof, the density of its magnetic poles is improved at the magnetic pole portion.
