Abstract
PURPOSE:To form a ceramic coating of long useful life, by spraying Ni base cermet comprising Ni base alloy, and Al2O3 or ZrO2 on the Fe base or Fe alloy base material, and by spraying Al2O3 thereon to form a coating, then by heating the coated material at a specific temp. CONSTITUTION:On the surface of Fe base or Fe alloy base material is formed a ground coating 0.2mm in thickness for Al2O3 spraying by spraying Ni base cermet comprising 70 parts Ni-Al alloy consisting of 80% by weight Ni, and 20% by weight Al; and 30 parts Al2O3 or ZrO2. On the ground coating is further sprayed Al2O3 0.2mm thick. The coated material is heated at a timp. not lower than 1,100 deg.C to form sprayed ceramic spray coating excellent in thermal impulse resistance and in durability.
