Abstract
PURPOSE: To increase the setting accuracy of the tube current as well as to decrease the number of the adjustment processes by incorporating the μ-computer into the X-ray controller and making use of the memory function in order to secure the feedback control even to the exposure of a single shot and short time.
CONSTITUTION: The current of X-ray tube 8 is measured at the secondary output of transformer 6 and then undergoes A/D conversion 25 to be compared 26 with the set value 15. Thus the error signals are emitted and received at table 27 to index ΔVF/ΔIP corresponding to the voltage and the current of tube 8 then, with multiplication by the error signal to be memorized 28. Then D/A conversion 29 is given to the memory contents for correction toward reduction of the error via DC stabilization power source 19. The memory contents is then applied to the filament via inverter 20 and transformer 11. As a result, the filament current flows to obtain the prescribed tube current to be controlled to hold the set value even with the up-down change of the tube voltage. At exposure of the X-rays, stored memory 28 is drawn out and undergoes D/A conversion 29 to control the output of filament stabilization current 19. Thus, the filament voltage features another new value.
