Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent generation of defective sealing of a tray having slanted edges and round corners by a method wherein polystylene paper is used as material for a sealing part, and a sealing surface of a sealing receiving base and a sealing surface of a sealing frame are formed to slant at the same or an approximate inclination as the sealing inclination on the tray side. CONSTITUTION:A sealing surface of a sealing receiving base 1 and a sealing surface of a sealing frame are formed to slant at the same or an approximate inclination as the sealing inclination on the tray 2 side, polystylene paper is used as material for a sealing part, a tray 2 is put over the sealing receiving base 1, and the tray 2 and a film 3 are pressed down by a sealer 4 to carry out heat sealing operation. By this sealing method, even sealing can be obtained due to the cushion property of the polystylene paper, and therefore generation of defective sealing can be reduced.
