Description
この考案は画像形成装置、例えば原稿の両面を
複写する複写機の原稿反転部などに設けられた搬
送ガイドに複数のリブを有する給紙装置に関す
る。

送ベルトにより反転部へ原稿を送つて反転させ、
再び原稿セツト面上に搬送して裏面を複写する。
そしてまた反転部を通して原稿セツト面上に搬出
して原稿を元の状態に戻し、この原稿を原稿セツ
ト面から排出して排紙スタツカに収容している。
このような複写機の給紙装置においては、反転
経路の上方に搬送ガイドが設けられ、反転された
原稿を原稿セツト面に案内するようになつてい
る。
ところでこの搬送ガイドは、紙詰まりを起こし
たときに原稿を取り出すことができるように開閉
可能になつているとともに、搬送される原稿との
摩擦を低減するため、および軽量化のために内側
にリブを設けている。そして反転経路におけるリ
ブ間には、搬送ローラと対向して補助ローラが設
けられ、反転された原稿を原稿セツト面へ送り出
すようになつている。

ることなく、確実に搬送できる給紙装置を得るこ
とを目的とする。
すなわちこの考案の給紙装置は、用紙を搬送手
段により搬送経路に沿つて給送する給紙装置にお
いて、
(1) 上記搬送経路に対向して設けられた搬送ガイ
ド本体、
(2) 上記搬送ガイド本体の内側に、用紙の幅方向
に並設した複数のリブ、
(3) 上記リブ間において上記搬送手段と対向して
当接するように軸設した補助ローラ、
(4) 上記補助ローラの上流側近傍に、補助ローラ
の回転中心から周面までの範囲に、上記搬送手
段側へ突出して設けられた補助リブ、
以上からなる搬送ガイドを備えたことを特徴と
するものである。

以下、この考案の一実施例について図面を参照
して説明する。
まず、第1図に示すように複写機の原稿セツト
面1上には、搬送装置2が設けられている。この
搬送装置2は、例えば原稿セツト面1の左右両端
に配設したプーリ3,4間に無端ベルト5を張設
して構成され、無端ベルト5が原稿セツト面1上
を摺接して複写原稿6を搬送するようになつてい
る。
この搬送装置2の一端には原稿6の供給台7
が、また他端には原稿6の反転経路8がそれぞれ
連設されている。原稿6の上記供給台7は原稿ス
タツカ9、切欠ローラ10、押え板11、給紙ロ
ーラ12、分離ローラ13、フイードローラ1
4,15を備え、原稿スタツカ9上の原稿6を一
枚ずつ分離して搬送装置2に送り込むようになつ
ている。
反転経路8にはストツパ16、出入検知センサ
17、フイードローラ18,19、軸20を中心
に回動する反転部材21、この反転部材21に取
り付けられた搬送ローラ22からなる搬送手段、
軸20を中心に回動する反転ローラ23、搬送ロ
ーラ22と対向する補助ローラ24、反転ローラ
23と対向する補助ローラ25、軸26を中心に
回動するゲートレバー27、軸28を中心に回動
する搬送ガイド29、この搬送ガイド29に取り
付けられ、上記搬送ローラ22と対向した補助ロ
ーラ30を備えている。またゲートレバー27の
下方には複写が終了した原稿6を収容する、収容
スタツカ31が設けられている。
上記のような構成において、搬送ガイド29は
第2図および第3図に示すように、内側に原稿の
幅方向に山形状の凹部を有する、複数のリブ32
が設けられている。なおリブ32は原稿サイズを
考慮して、各種サイズの原稿の横幅に接触しない
位置に取り付けられている。そしてこれらのリブ
32間には、搬送ローラ22からなる搬送手段と
接する補助ローラ30が保持板33を介して取り
付けられている。また、これら補助ローラ30の
上流側には、補助ローラ30の回転中心から周面
までの範囲に、上記搬送手段側へ突出した補助リ
ブ34が、所定の傾斜角度θで設けられている。
上記実施例によれば、搬送ガイド29の内側に
複数の原稿サイズを考慮して、各種サイズの原稿
6の横幅に接触しない位置に複数のリブ32を設
けたので、原稿6の横幅がリブ32に接触するこ
とがなく、原稿6が傾いたりよじれたりすること
がない。
またこれらのリブ32間に設けられた補助ロー
ラ30の上流側に補助リブ34を設けたので、リ
ブ間隔が短くなり、補助ローラ30の上流側にお
ける原稿6のたわみが少なくなるために、原稿6
が補助ローラ30の内側にもぐり込むこともなく
なり、用紙先端の損傷やスキユーの発生を防止で
きる。
さらに、補助リブ34を補助ローラ30の回転
中心から周面までの範囲に、上記搬送手段側へ突
出させたので、補助ローラ30に原稿6の先端が
当接しても接触角が鈍角となるため、一層補助ロ
ーラ30の内側へ原稿6がもぐり込みにくい。

このような構成において、原稿6の搬送は先ず
原稿スタツカ9上の原稿6が切欠ローラ10によ
り送り出され、給紙ローラ12と分離ローラ13
とで一枚ずつに分離される。そしてフイードロー
ラ14,15を介して搬送装置2に供給され、原
稿セツト面1上を原稿6がストツパ16に接する
まで搬送される。そして原稿6の複写が行われ、
終了するとストツパ16が回動して原稿6の停止
が解除され、ベルト5により反転経路へ送られ
る。
原稿6はフイードローラ18と19の間、搬送
ローラ22からなる搬送手段と補助ローラ24の
間、搬送ローラ23と補助ローラ25の間、ゲー
トレバー27、搬送ガイド29、搬送ローラ22
と補助ローラ30の間を通つて再び原稿セツト面
1上に搬送される。そして原稿6を後戻りさせて
ストツパ16で係止する。そして原稿6の裏面の
複写が行われる。
複写が終了すると、再度反転経路8で反転さ
れ、また原稿セツト面1上に搬送される。これに
より、原稿6は原稿スタツカ9上にあつたときと
同じ状態になる。
この原稿6は、再々度反転経路8に供給され
る。その際、ゲートレバー27は左回転され、収
容スタツカ31へのゲートが開く。したがつて、
反転経路8に入つた原稿6は、補助ローラ25の
ところから収容スタツカ31側へ進路変更されて
収容される。これにより一枚の原稿6の両面複写
が完了する。
なお、反転経路8に原稿6が詰まつたときに
は、搬送ガイド29および反転部材21を軸2
8,20を中心に回転させて開放し、原稿6を取
り出して処理する。
以上、この考案の一実施例について説明した
が、この考案は上記実施例に限定されるものでは
ない。
例えば前記実施例では複写機の給紙装置におけ
る搬送ガイド29を中心に説明したが、コピー用
紙の給紙経路などにおける搬送ガイドがリブおよ
び補助ローラを備えている場合には、この考案を
適用できる。
また画像形成装置として複写機を示したが、レ
ーザプリンタやフオトプリンタ、液晶プリンタな
どにも適用可能である。

得ることができる。
