(Prior Art) Conventionally, the slitting process of a plate-shaped work such as a metal plate is often performed by shearing with metal scissors or punching with a press machine. Alternatively, for curved slitting, so-called nibbling processing, which is performed using a continuous form of small-diameter punches, is also often performed. There are also specialized shearing machines such as the Bible Shear.

(Problems to be solved by the invention) However, all of these conventional slitting processes have problems. That is,
The items that can be sheared using metal scissors are limited to relatively thin and soft metal plates, and there are many variations in processing accuracy. It also requires more skill, labor, and time.
Further, when punching is performed using a press machine, a long and narrow cutting die is usually used and a long portion is cut by a punching process. Therefore, a gap equal to the thickness of the cutting die is created as a cutting allowance in the cut portion, which often causes inconvenience in post-processing. For example, when bending and welding this cut part,
The welds are separated by the gap, which often makes welding difficult.

Nibbling with a small-diameter punch similarly creates a gap equal to the punch diameter as a cutting allowance, which often causes inconvenience in post-processing. In addition, the machining time is long and the small diameter punch is severely worn out. When using a dedicated shearing machine such as a Bible shear, additional equipment costs and installation space are required.

In FIG. 1, a slitting mold 1 installed in a punch press machine (not shown) is a lower mold 1.
L and an upper mold 1U, and the lower mold 1L is equipped with an upward cutting blade 3. In addition, in the upper mold 1U,
A downward cutting blade 5 that can freely intersect with the cutting blade 3 is provided. The upward cutting blade 3 is provided in a protruding manner approximately at the center of the circular base portion 7. An annular ejector 11 is disposed around the ejector 11 for raising and returning the plate-like workpiece 9 that is locally lowered during the cutting operation described later.
Several shoulder screws 13 and several ejector springs 15 are disposed on the circumference between the ejector 11 and the pedestal 7. The ejector 11 is now connected to the base portion 7 so as to be able to move up and down a predetermined distance with a predetermined force.

For this reason, it is difficult to correctly orient and fix the pedestal part 7 to a pedestal holder (not shown), and to orient the upper punch 17 to a holder guide (not shown) and fit it so that it can move up and down. This is similar to the case of mold attachment. Note that curve cutting can be conveniently performed by numerically controlling the punch press machine and interposing a numerically controlled auto-endexing device (not shown) between the pedestal 7 and the punch 17 to control rotational indexing. That is, both cutting blades 3 and 5 are synchronously rotated horizontally along the intended cutting curve. And plate work 9
By moving the workpiece along the curve to be cut using a workpiece moving device (not shown), the workpiece can be cut automatically.

First, as shown in FIG. 2, both the cutting blades 3 and 5 are opened vertically, the workpiece 9 is placed on the ejector 11, and the planned cutting line is precisely aligned with the cutting edge line of the upward cutting blade 3. At this time, it goes without saying that if the punch press machine (not shown) is numerically controlled and equipped with an auto index, accurate positioning and orientation will be performed automatically. Next, as shown in FIG. 3, when the downward cutting blade 5 is lowered, the ejector 11 sinks and shearing begins. In FIG. 4, the ejector 11 has descended the most and the shearing has temporarily ended. Next, the fifth
As shown in the figure, when the downward cutting blade 5 is raised, the ejector 11 and the workpiece 9 are also raised together.

Subsequently, when the downward cutting blade 5 is raised to the maximum as shown in FIG. 6, the workpiece 9 also returns to the level shown in FIG. 2 and rises. Here, the workpiece 9 is fed along the planned cutting line by a length equivalent to one cutting by both cutting blades 3 and 5. Thereafter, the above steps are repeated to perform slitting processing on the workpiece 9 to a predetermined length. Note that even if the numerically controlled auto-endexing device is not installed, it is of course possible to cut a curved line by feeding the workpiece 9 while horizontally rotating it along the line to be cut.

Since the slitting process is performed by repeated shearing as described above, the kerf of the cut portion is zero, and no gap is generated due to the kerf as in the conventional method. In addition, processing is easy and quick, and there is little wear and tear on the mold. Furthermore, there is no need for a separate dedicated shearing machine like the conventional Bible shear, and the slitting process can be easily performed using only a punch press machine. It is more convenient if the press is a turret punch press and the slitting molds are attached to the upper and lower turrets of the press.

The slitting mold of the punch press machine of this invention is not limited to the one embodiment described above, but can be modified in various ways. For example, the upper and lower cutting blades may not be straight blades, but may be wavy surface blades with wavy uneven cutting lines. Further, by arranging a plurality of combinations of upper and lower cutting blades at predetermined intervals, it is possible to easily perform slitting processing on a plurality of pieces at the same time. Furthermore, the cutting characteristics can be changed by changing the blade lengths of the upper and lower cutting blades. For example, if there are many straight cuts, it can be made longer to improve the machining speed, and if there are many curved cuts with small curvature, it can be made shorter to make it easier to handle.

[Effects of the invention] As can be understood from the explanation of the embodiments above, the present invention has an upper mold 1U and a lower mold 1L.
This is a mold for slitting processing of a punch press machine, and the upward cutting blade 3 protruding upward from approximately the center of the pedestal part 7 of the lower mold 1L is aligned approximately with the center of the pedestal part 7. An annular ejector 11 having a vertical surface 27 and surrounding the upward cutting blade 3 is provided on the pedestal portion 7 so as to be movable up and down and biased upward, and in a normal state, the ejector 11 The upper mold 1 is attached to the lower cutting blade 5, which has an upper surface higher than the upper cutting blade 3 and protrudes downward from the upper mold 1U.
A vertical surface 29 that coincides with approximately the center of U is provided, and a gap between the vertical surface 29 of the upper mold 1U and the vertical surface 27 of the lower mold 1L is made small, and the upper mold 1U and the lower mold 1L are Both are rotatable around the center.
