(1) When a cloth wet with water dries due to the heat inside the device, it no longer indicates the wet bulb temperature, making continuous measurement of the temperature impossible. Therefore, during measurement, I took out the wet bulb thermometer several times, wet the cloth on the temperature sensitive part, and then set the thermometer again. However, wetting the cloth to absorb water is troublesome, and when measuring for a long time, the wet bulb temperature measurement must be interrupted each time. (2) Since the thermometer is taken in and out, the atmosphere inside the drying device is disturbed, making it impossible to accurately measure the temperature, and when this atmosphere is high temperature and humidity, this water supply operation becomes dangerous. (3) Since the rod-shaped mercury thermometer is made of glass, care must be taken when handling it. Furthermore, since it is necessary to visually read the reading scale, the timing of reading becomes a problem and reading errors are likely to occur.

Therefore, the superabsorbent material always maintains a state containing an appropriate amount of water. Therefore, there is no need to take out the thermocouple thermometer and refill it with water during temperature measurement.

A heat-resistant insulation tube 3 is inserted into a side wall 2 of the drying device 1. A thermocouple thermometer 4 is inserted into the tube 3, and both ends thereof are fixed by support members 5 and 6. At the tip of the thermocouple thermometer 4, a temperature sensing portion 8 covered with a super absorbent material 7 is provided. This super water absorbent body 7 has a water channel 10, a through hole 11
Specifically, for example, a super absorbent resin, polyurethane, sponge, heat-resistant super absorbent resin, etc. are used. The water supply tank 12 is provided at the rear end of a heat-resistant and heat-insulated pipe 3 protruding from the side wall 2. The super absorbent body 7 is covered with a protective cover 14 made of a heat-resistant porous material. The thermocouple thermometer 4 is provided with a display section 20 that digitally displays the wet bulb temperature and a recording section 21 that records the temperature.

The water adhering to the wet bulb slowly evaporates due to the heat inside the drying device 1, and the temperature of the air when it just reaches the saturated state is digitally displayed on the display section 20 and recorded on the recording section 21. At this time, the water 13 in the water supply tank 12 is
Since the water is supplied to the super water absorbent body 7 through the through hole 11, the super water absorbent body 7 always retains a predetermined amount of water during temperature measurement. Therefore, the temperature sensing section 8 does not dry out and become unable to measure temperature, making continuous measurement possible.

The super water absorbent body always retains a predetermined amount of water by means of water supply means. Therefore, unlike the conventional example, there is no need to take out the wet bulb thermometer and supply water during temperature measurement, making it possible to safely and continuously measure temperature. Furthermore, since the atmosphere around the heat sensitive section is not disturbed, accurate wet bulb temperature measurements can be made. Furthermore, since it is a thermocouple thermometer, it can measure temperatures higher than conventional mercury glass thermometers.
