Description
Claims (9)
- 電極アセンブリと電解質を含むセルアセンブリと、
前記セルアセンブリを収容する筐体と、
膨潤補償部材を有する電池セルと、
前記筐体の外側表面と熱接触している冷却部材を備え、
前記膨潤補償部材は、前記筐体の内側表面の第1の部分が前記膨潤補償部材と接触し、前記筐体の内側表面の第2の部分が前記膨潤補償部材と接触していないように、前記電極アセンブリおよび前記筐体の内側表面と接触しているように構成され、
前記冷却部材と接触している前記筐体の外側表面の少なくとも一部が、前記膨潤補償部材と接触していない前記筐体の内側表面の少なくとも一部に対応しており、
前記膨潤補償部材は、少なくとも半開放多孔質構造を有する材料を含み、使用中、前記膨潤補償部材が、前記電極アセンブリの膨潤時に少なくとも一次元で収縮し、前記電極アセンブリの収縮時に少なくとも一次元で膨張するように構成されている、
電池。 - 前記膨潤補償部材の細孔が、前記電池セルで使用するための電解質を含む、請求項1に記載の電池。
- 1つまたは複数の膨潤補償部材を含む、請求項1又は2に記載の電池。
- 前記筐体は、可撓性ポーチ材料または実質的に剛性の材料を含む、請求項1~3のいずれかに記載の電池。
- 前記筐体は、実質的に互いに垂直である3対の、実質的に対向する側壁を含む実質的に立方体の形状であり、前記冷却部材が第1の対の側壁に実質的に平行であり、前記膨潤補償部材が第2または第3の対の側壁に実質的に平行である、請求項1~4のいずれかに記載の電池。
- 請求項5において、複数の前記電池セルを備え、2つ以上の前記電池セルが並べて配置され、共通の冷却部材を共有する、電池。
- 前記冷却部材は、隣接している第1の電池セルと第2の電池セルとの間に配置された1つまたは複数の冷却フィンを含み、各冷却フィンが前記第1の電池セルの第2の側面および前記第2の電池セルの第2の側面と熱接触し、前記冷却フィンと接触している前記第1および第2の電池セルの前記第2の側面がそれぞれ前記第1および第2の電池セルの冷却側面である、請求項6に記載の電池。
- 前記第1の電池セルの冷却側面の内側表面、および前記第2の電池セルの冷却側面の内側表面が、前記第1および第2の電池セルのそれぞれの膨潤補償部材と接触していない、請求項7に記載の電池。
- 第3の電池セルを含み、前記第3の電池セルは、前記第3の電池セルの第2の側面が前記第2の電池セルの前記第2の側面に隣接するように、前記第2の電池セルと並べて隣接配置され、前記第2および第3のセルの隣接する側面がそれぞれ前記第2および第3の電池セルの絶縁側面であり、前記第3の電池セルの前記絶縁側面の内側表面および第2の電池セルの前記絶縁側面の内側表面が、前記第2及び第3の電池セルのそれぞれの前記膨潤補償部材と接触している請求項8に記載の電池。
