以下、第2実施形態として、インクジェットヘッド10を備えるインクジェット記録装置100の一例について、図7を参照して説明する。インクジェット記録装置100は、筐体111と、媒体供給部112と、画像形成部113と、媒体排出部114と、搬送装置115と、制御部116と、を備える。
Claims (5)
- 液体を吐出する吐出ノズルに連通するとともに前記液体が充填される複数の駆動流路と、
複数の前記駆動流路に隣接して配され、液体を吐出しないダミーノズルに連通し、前記液体が充填される複数のダミー流路と、
前記駆動流路と前記ダミー流路の間に形成され、駆動信号に応じて前記駆動流路の容積と前記ダミー流路の容積を同時に変化させる側壁と、を備え、
前記ダミー流路内の液体の音響共振周期が、前記駆動流路内の液体の音響共振周期よりも短い、液体吐出ヘッド。 - 前記ダミー流路内の液体の音響共振周期は、前記駆動流路内の液体の音響共振周期の1/2以下である、請求項1に記載の液体吐出ヘッド。
- 前記駆動流路及び前記ダミー流路が第1方向において交互に複数並列して形成されるベースと、
前記ベースの一方側に対向配置され、前記吐出ノズル及び前記ダミーノズルが形成されるノズルプレートと、を備え、
前記駆動流路及び前記ダミー流路は、前記第1方向と交差する第2方向にそれぞれ延び、
前記ダミーノズルは前記第2方向に沿って複数配され、または前記第2方向に延出する、
請求項1または2に記載の液体吐出ヘッド。 - 前記ダミーノズルは、前記ダミー流路の延出方向における全長に亘って形成される、請求項3に記載の液体吐出ヘッド。
- 前記ダミー流路内の液体の圧力伝搬速度をc、
前記ダミーノズルの開口面積をSn、
前記ダミーノズルの長さをLn、
前記ダミーノズル1つあたりの前記ダミー流路の容積をVd、
前記駆動流路内の液体の音響共振周期の半周期をALとしたとき、
AL= 2π/{c√(Sn/Vd/Ln)}
である、請求項1至4のいずれかに記載の液体吐出ヘッド。
