Claims (25)
- 医療用チューブ内のデブリの清掃に適合されるワイヤを駆動するスプール駆動システムであって、該システムは、
入口を有するスプールハウジングと、
前記スプールハウジング内にあるスプールであって、該スプールは、該スプールにおいて前記ワイヤを巻き取る及び繰り出すように自軸の周りに回転可能であり、それにより、前記入口を通して前記ワイヤを後退又は前進させる、スプールと、
前記スプールハウジング内で前記スプールの周縁部から離間して該周縁部の周りに少なくとも部分的に延在するトラックであって、該トラックは、前記スプールが回転する際に前記ワイヤを前記スプールに巻き取るか又は前記スプールから繰り出すように適合される、トラックと、
モーターが内部に配置されるモーターハウジングであって、前記モーターは、前記ワイヤを、前記入口を通して前記スプールハウジングから後退させる又は前記スプールハウジング内に前進させるように動作可能であり、前記スプールハウジング及び該モーターハウジングは、該モーターハウジングを前記スプールハウジングに連結することによって、前記スプールおよび前記モーターを封入しており、単一の手持ち式アセンブリに統合される、モーターハウジングと、
を備える、スプール駆動システム。 - 前記トラックは、前記ワイヤが前記スプールにおける巻取り状態を維持するのに役立つように適合され、巻取り状態を維持しなければ前記ワイヤの剛性によって起こり得る繰出しを防止する、請求項1に記載のスプール駆動システム。
- 前記トラックは、前記スプールの前記周縁部の周りに少なくとも部分的に延在する溝付き表面を有し、該溝付き表面は、前記スプールの周面に対向する周方向に離間した複数の溝を有する、請求項1に記載のスプール駆動システム。
- 前記トラックは、前記スプールの周面に対向して、周方向に離間した複数のリッジを有する表面を有する、請求項1に記載のスプール駆動システム。
- 前記トラックは、前記スプールの周面に対向して、周方向に離間した複数のホイールを備え、該ホイールは、前記ワイヤが前記スプールにおいて巻き取られる又は繰り出される際に、前記ワイヤに回転可能に係合するのに効果的である、請求項1に記載のスプール駆動システム。
- 前記ホイールは、前記スプールの回転時に前記ワイヤに効果的に係合するために、前記スプールの周面に向かって径方向に付勢される、請求項5に記載のスプール駆動システム。
- 前記トラックは、前記スプールの周面に対向して、円形経路に沿って制限される複数の玉軸受を備える、請求項1に記載のスプール駆動システム。
- 前記トラックは、前記スプールの回転に際して、前記ワイヤと前記トラックの特徴部との間に低摩擦の摺動境界面を提供するように、低摩擦材料又は低摩擦コーティングを含む、請求項1に記載のスプール駆動システム。
- 前記モーターは、前記スプールハウジングと前記モーターハウジングとの間で孔を貫通する前記スプールのシャフトに回転可能に連結し、それにより、前記モーターは、前記スプールを効果的に回転させる、請求項1に記載のスプール駆動システム。
- 前記モーターハウジング内に、前記モーターに電気エネルギーを供給するバッテリーを更に備える、請求項9に記載のスプール駆動システム。
- 前記モーターハウジング内に、前記モーターに動作的に接続されるコントローラーを更に備え、該コントローラーは、前記スプールを回転させることによって前記ワイヤを駆動するために、前記モーターを動作させるように構成される、請求項10に記載のスプール駆動システム。
- 前記コントローラーは、特定のプログラムに従って及び/又は前記コントローラーに通信される検知されたパラメーターに応じて、前記モーターを選択的に動作させるように構成される、請求項11に記載のスプール駆動システム。
- 前記モーターに電気エネルギーを供給する、前記手持ち式アセンブリ内にシールされたバッテリーを更に備え、前記手持ち式アセンブリは、使い捨てであるように構成される、請求項1に記載のスプール駆動システム。
- 前記手持ち式アセンブリは、滅菌されている、請求項13に記載のスプール駆動システム。
- 前記手持ち式アセンブリ内に、前記モーターに動作的に接続されたコントローラーを更に備え、該コントローラーは、前記ワイヤを駆動するために前記モーターを動作させるように構成される、請求項1に記載のスプール駆動システム。
- 前記コントローラーは、特定のプログラムに従って及び/又は前記コントローラーに通信される検知されたパラメーターに応じて、前記モーターを選択的に動作させるように構成される、請求項15に記載のスプール駆動システム。
- 前記コントローラーは、制御システムに動作的に接続されるとともに、制御システムの一部を形成し、前記制御システムは、1つ以上のパラメーターを検出して、該検出された1つ以上のパラメーターを示す信号を前記コントローラーに送信するように構成された1つ以上のセンサーを備える、請求項15に記載のスプール駆動システム。
- 前記1つ以上のセンサーは、医療用チューブの又は前記医療用チューブにおける以下の条件のうちの1つ以上、すなわち、前記医療用チューブの向き;前記医療用チューブ内での清掃部材の位置;圧力レベル、pHレベル、グルコースレベル、タンパク質レベル、又は前記医療用チューブ内の物質の酸化還元状態;前記医療用チューブ内の詰まり;前記医療用チューブにおける捩れ;前記医療用チューブにおけるフィブリン凝塊分解副産物、エンドトキシン、細菌感染副産物、活性酸素、又はヘマトクリットの量を検出するように構成される、請求項17に記載のスプール駆動システム。
- 前記1つ以上のセンサーは、医療用チューブによって治療を受ける患者の以下の条件のうちの1つ以上、すなわち、体温、心拍数及び周期、不整脈、呼吸数、炎症レベル、痛みレベル、若しくは酸素飽和レベル;患者の向き;患者の活動レベル;患者の咳嗽;1日あたりの患者の歩数;患者が行っている活動の種類;患者の居場所;又は患者が特定の場所に居た時間の長さを検出するように構成される、請求項17に記載のスプール駆動システム。
- 医療用チューブに流体連結されるように構成された第1のチューブ部分と、吸引源に流体連結されるように構成された第2のチューブ部分と、前記スプールハウジングの前記入口に連結されるか又は前記入口を有する第3のチューブ部分とを有するY字形カップリングをさらに備え、前記入口から延在する前記ワイヤの前進及び後退に対応して、前記ワイヤが前記第1のチューブ部分を通って前進及び後退する、請求項1に記載のスプール駆動システム。
- 前記Y字形カップリングは、前記第3のチューブ部分内に円筒形ブッシュを備え、前記ワイヤを前進及び後退させる際に、前記ワイヤから物質を拭い、該物質が前記スプールハウジングに入らないようにするために、前記ワイヤが前記円筒形ブッシュを通過する、請求項20に記載のスプール駆動システム。
- 前記円筒形ブッシュは、流体を吸収することができる多孔質材料を含む、請求項21に記載のスプール駆動システム。
- 前記第3のチューブ部分は、小径であり、前記ブッシュは、前記第3のチューブ部分における前記小径部分の近位に位置し、ワイパーが、前記第3のチューブ部分における前記ブッシュの近位に配置され、潤滑器が、前記第3のチューブ部分における前記ワイパーの近位に配置され、前記ワイヤは、前記第3のチューブ部分を通って前進及び後退する際に、前記第3のチューブ部分内の前記小径部分、前記ブッシュ、前記ワイパー、及び前記潤滑器のそれぞれを通過する、請求項21に記載のスプール駆動システム。
- 前記Y字形カップリングは、前記第3のチューブ部分を通って並進する際に、前記ワイヤから物質を擦り取り、除去するのに効果的な毛材を更に備える、請求項21に記載のスプール駆動システム。
- 前記スプールハウジング内にローラーを更に備え、該ローラーが第1の方向に回転することにより前記ワイヤを該スプールハウジング内に後退させ、該ローラーが第2の方向に回転することにより該ワイヤを該スプールハウジング外に前進させる、請求項1に記載のスプール駆動システム。
