Claims (13)
- 偏光子、並びに
前記偏光子の一面上に形成された、複数の陰刻パターンを有する高屈折層、及び前記陰刻パターンの少なくとも一部を充填する充填パターンを含む低屈折層を含むパターン層を含む偏光板であって、
前記偏光板は第1の保護層をさらに含み、
前記偏光板は、前記偏光子、前記低屈折層、前記高屈折層、及び前記第1の保護層が順次積層された構造であるか、前記偏光子、前記第1の保護層、前記低屈折層、及び前記高屈折層が順次積層された構造であり、
前記第1の保護層は、トリアセチルセルロース(TAC)、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、環状オレフィンポリマー(COP)、及びアクリル樹脂のうち一つ以上で形成された基材フィルムを含み、
前記高屈折層の屈折率は前記低屈折層の屈折率より大きく、
前記高屈折層と前記低屈折層の屈折率差は0.30以下であり、
前記陰刻パターンのアスペクト比は1.0以下であり、
前記パターン層は、前記偏光子から入射された偏光を拡散させるために前記偏光子の一面上に形成され、
前記各陰刻パターンの間に平坦部がさらに形成され、

- 前記第1の保護層は、波長550nmにおいて面方向位相差(Re)が8,000nm以上である、ポリエチレンテレフタレート樹脂で形成されたものである、請求項1に記載の偏光板。
- 前記第1の保護層は、前記基材フィルム、及び前記基材フィルムの少なくとも一面に形成されたプライマー層を含み、前記基材フィルムの屈折率に対する前記プライマー層の屈折率の比は1.0以下である、請求項1に記載の偏光板。
- 前記第1の保護層は、波長550nmにおいて光透過率が90%以上である、請求項5に記載の偏光板。
- 前記第1の保護層は、前記ポリエチレンテレフタレート樹脂で形成された基材フィルムを1軸延伸したものである、請求項1に記載の偏光板。
- 前記偏光子上に前記低屈折層、前記高屈折層及び前記第1の保護層が順次積層されたものである、請求項1に記載の偏光板。
- 前記高屈折層と前記第1の保護層は直接接している、請求項8に記載の偏光板。
- 前記偏光子と前記低屈折層の間に形成された接着層をさらに含む、請求項8に記載の偏光板。
- 前記偏光子の他面上に形成された第2の保護層をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の偏光板。
- 前記第2の保護層がトリアセチルセルロース(TAC)、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、環状オレフィンポリマー(COP)、及びアクリル樹脂のうち一つ以上で形成されたフィルムを含む、請求項11に記載の偏光板。
- 請求項1に記載の偏光板を含む液晶表示装置。
