Description
図1は、本発明の一実施形態を示すタイヤ1のトレッド部2の展開図である。本実施形態では、好ましい態様として、乗用車用の空気入りタイヤが示される。但し、本発明は、例えば、重荷重用や自動二輪車用等、他のカテゴリーのタイヤにも適用しうるのは、言うまでもない。
テスト方法は、次の通りである。
各試供タイヤが、下記の条件で、排気量が1600ccの普通乗用車の全輪に装着された。そして、テストドライバーが、乾燥路のテストコース及び雪路のテストコースをそれぞれ走行させ、このときの、トラクション性、ハンドル応答性、及び、旋回性に関する走行特性がテストドライバーの官能により評価された。結果は、実施例1を100とする評点で表示されている。結果は、数値が大きい程、良好であることを示す。

各主溝の溝深さ:9.0mm
ミドル横溝の溝深さ:7.0mm
ショルダー横溝の溝深さ:7.5mm
クラウン横溝の溝深さ:7.0mm

テストの結果が表1に示される。

Claims (6)
- トレッド部に、トレッド端側をタイヤ周方向に連続してのびるショルダー主溝と、前記ショルダー主溝のタイヤ軸方向内側でタイヤ周方向に連続してのびるクラウン主溝と、前記ショルダー主溝と前記クラウン主溝との間に区分されたミドル陸部とが設けられたタイヤであって、
前記ミドル陸部は、前記ショルダー主溝と前記クラウン主溝とを継ぐ複数本のミドル横溝によって、複数のミドルブロックに区分され、
前記ミドルブロックの少なくとも1つには、前記ショルダー主溝からタイヤ軸方向内側にのびかつ前記ミドルブロック内で終端するスロットと、前記スロットのタイヤ周方向の一方側の第1部分と、前記スロットのタイヤ周方向の他方側の第2部分とを有し、
前記第2部分は、前記ショルダー主溝側でのタイヤ周方向エッジに関して、前記第1部分よりも小さく形成されており、
前記第2部分の踏面には、前記ミドル陸部のタイヤ軸方向の中心よりも前記ショルダー主溝側に、ディンプルが設けられているタイヤ。 - 前記ショルダー主溝と前記トレッド端との間にショルダー陸部が設けられ、
前記ショルダー陸部は、前記ショルダー主溝と前記トレッド端とを継ぐ少なくとも1本のショルダー横溝が設けられ、
前記ショルダー横溝と前記スロットとは、1本の溝を形成するように、前記ショルダー主溝を介して滑らかに連続する請求項1記載のタイヤ。 - 前記ミドル横溝は、タイヤ周方向の前記一方側に突出する頂部を有したV字状である請求項1又は2記載のタイヤ。
- 前記第2部分の踏面は、前記タイヤ周方向エッジと、前記ミドル横溝側の横向きエッジとを有し、前記タイヤ周方向エッジと前記横向きエッジとが鋭角で交差する請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
- 前記スロットは、前記ショルダー主溝からタイヤ軸方向内側に向かってタイヤ周方向の前記一方側に傾斜する請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
- 前記ミドルブロックには、前記ショルダー主溝よりも小さい幅及び深さでタイヤ周方向にのびる細溝が設けられ、
前記細溝は、前記ミドル横溝の前記頂部よりもタイヤ軸方向内側で前記ミドル横溝に連通する請求項3記載のタイヤ。
