Description
図1に示すように、真空複層ガラスパネル10(以下、「ガラスパネル10」と称する)は、一対の板ガラス1、2の対向面1A,2Aの間に、複数のスペーサ3(間隔保持部材の一例)を配置して、内部に空隙部4が形成される。一対の板ガラス1、2の対向面1A,2Aの周辺部には、低融点ガラスや、鉛、スズ、インジウムなどを含む金属等の封止材5が融着配置され、気密に封止されたのち空隙部4の内部が減圧状態に維持される。複数のスペーサ3は、対向面1A,2Aに所定の間隔で設定された支持点6の夫々に設置される。
また、スペーサ3は、当接部材7から一体に延出した突出片8によって当接部材7どうしが連結され、当接部材7どうしの位置関係が拘束される。当接部材7どうしが連結されることでスぺーサ3は平面的に広がりを持った形状となり易く、スペーサ3を設置する際の姿勢が非常に安定したものとなる。
図9に基づいて、第1実施形態のスペーサ3の変形例を説明する。図9には、「A」〜「D」の4タイプのスペーサ3の形状が示されている。
「A」は、夫々の当接部材7から一体に延出する突出片8を中央側で交差させて複数の当接部材7どうしを接続したものである。
「B」は、周方向に隣接する当接部材7どうしが突出片8によって連結され、複数の当接部材7が環状に接続されたものである。
「C」は、夫々の当接部材7から一体に延出する突出片8の組合せにより、複数の当接部材7を内部に収容する環状の接続部11が形成されたものである。
「D」は、環状の接続部12から内側に複数の突出片8を延出させ、夫々の突出片8に当接部材7を設けたものである。環状の接続部12は円環状でなくてもよく、例えば多角形状に形成してもよい。
例えば、スペーサ3が円筒状の当接部材7のみで構成され、当接領域Aの半径aが0.25mm、スペーサ3の間隔λが20mmであると、当接領域Aは、A=πa2=2.0×10-7m2となり、各スペーサ3にかかる力は40Nとなる。したがって、各スペーサ3には、約200Mpa(σ=40/(2.0×10-7))の圧縮応力が作用する。
図10および図11に示すように、本実施形態のスペーサ3は当接部材7を一つ備える。当接部材7の周囲を囲む状態に環状部9が配置されており、当接部材7から一体に延出する突出片8に環状部9が支持されている。
〈1〉第1平面部7Aおよび第2平面部7Bの形状は、例えば図12に示すように楕円状に形成してもよい。この場合、個々の当接部材7については、紙面の左右方向に変形し或いは転び易い構成となる。しかし、二つの当接部材7どうしの左右の間隔を広くとり、スペーサ3の全体の形状を左右方向に長く形成することで、変形特性において異方性のないスペーサ3を得ることができる。
〈2〉当接部材7の形状は、円柱状の他、角柱状でもよい。
〈3〉スペーサ3は、エッチング処理以外に、レーザー等の手段による切断やプレス加工による打ち抜きによって所定の寸法に加工してもよい。

Claims (9)
- 一対の板ガラス間の空隙部を減圧状態に保持する際に、前記一対の板ガラスの対向面に所定の間隔で設定された支持点の各々に設置される間隔保持部材であって、
前記一対の板ガラスの対向面に各別に当接する一方側の第1平面部および他方側の第2平面部を有する当接部材を複数備えるとともに、夫々の前記当接部材から一体に延出した突出片を複数備え、
前記複数の当接部材どうしが前記突出片によって互いに接続されており、
前記当接部材が前記一対の板ガラスの間に設置された状態で、複数の前記突出片が前記一対の板ガラスに離間し、
前記間隔保持部材に外接して高さ方向が前記第1平面部に垂直な仮想の円柱を設定したとき、前記第1平面部の総面積および前記第2平面部の総面積が、前記円柱の円形断面積の半分以下に設定してある真空複層ガラスパネル用の間隔保持部材。 - 前記複数の突出片は、夫々、前記一対の板ガラスの面方向に突出する長さが前記当接部材における当該面方向の幅よりも小さい請求項1に記載の間隔保持部材。
- 前記複数の当接部材が周方向に均等に配置されている請求項1又は2に記載の間隔保持部材。
- 前記複数の突出片の組合せにより、前記複数の当接部材を内部に収容する環状の接続部が形成されている請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載の間隔保持部材。
- 前記環状の接続部が円環状に形成されている請求項4に記載の間隔保持部材。
- 一対の板ガラス間の空隙部を減圧状態に保持する際に、前記一対の板ガラスの対向面に所定の間隔で設定された支持点の各々に設置される間隔保持部材であって、
前記一対の板ガラスの対向面に各別に当接する一方側の第1平面部および他方側の第2平面部を有する当接部材を一つ備えるとともに、前記当接部材から一体に径方向外方に延出した複数の突出片を備え、
前記複数の突出片に支持され、前記当接部材から離間して前記当接部材の周囲を囲む状態に配置される環状部を備え、
前記当接部材が前記一対の板ガラスの間に設置された状態で、前記複数の突出片及び前記環状部が前記一対の板ガラスに離間し、
前記間隔保持部材に外接して高さ方向が前記第1平面部に垂直な仮想の円柱を設定したとき、前記第1平面部の総面積および前記第2平面部の総面積が、前記円柱の円形断面積の半分以下に設定してある真空複層ガラスパネル用の間隔保持部材。 - 前記第1平面部の総面積および前記第2平面部の総面積が、前記円柱の円形断面積の4分の1以下に設定してある請求項1〜6の何れか一項に記載の間隔保持部材。
- 前記第1平面部および前記第2平面部の少なくとも一方が円形状である請求項1〜7の何れか一項に記載の間隔保持部材。
- 前記第1平面部および前記第2平面部の最大幅が前記第1平面部と前記第2平面部との間の高さ寸法以下に設定してある請求項1〜8の何れか一項に記載の間隔保持部材。
