内燃機関からの駆動力が伝達されるクラッチ入力部と、
変速機に接続されるクラッチ出力部と、
クラッチ入力部とクラッチ出力部とを接続自在な発進クラッチと、
ロータを有する電動機と、
を備える動力伝達装置において、
クラッチ入力部とクラッチ出力部と発進クラッチとはロータ内に配置され、
ロータとクラッチ出力部とを接続する出力側接続状態と、ロータとクラッチ入力部とを接続する入力側接続状態とに切換自在な切換機構を備え、
前記切換機構は、
軸方向に移動自在なスライダと、スライダを移動させるアクチュエータと、前記ロータの径方向内側であって、内燃機関側に配置される内燃機関側ボールと、前記ロータの径方向内側であって、変速機側に配置される変速機側ボールと、を備え、
前記クラッチ出力部には、変速機側ボールを受け入れ可能な出力側受入穴が設けられ、
前記クラッチ入力部には、内燃機関側ボールを受け入れ可能な入力側受入穴が設けられ、
前記切換機構は、スライダが変速機側に位置するときに、変速機側ボールを出力側受入穴に係合させて、前記ロータと前記クラッチ出力部とを係合させた前記出力側接続状態となり、
スライダが内燃機関側に位置するときに、内燃機関側ボールを入力側受入穴に係合させて、前記ロータと前記クラッチ入力部とを係合させた前記入力側接続状態となることを特徴とする。
[4]また、本発明においては、前記アクチュエータは油圧アクチュエータであり、油圧アクチュエータは、スライダの軸方向に隣接して配置される油圧室と、油圧室に油圧を供給する油路とを備えるように構成することができる。
図1に示すように、本発明の第1実施形態の動力伝達装置PTは、内燃機関ENGの動力を変速機TMに解除自在に伝達させるものであり、ロータMGaとステータMGbを有し発電可能な電動機MGを備えている。なお、図1では、内燃機関ENGや変速機TMと比較して動力伝達装置PTを大きく示すと共に、一点鎖線で示す回転軸線よりも上側のみ示している。
図10から図12を参照して、本発明の第2実施形態の動力伝達装置PTを説明する。なお、第1実施形態と同一の構成は同一の符号を付してその説明を省略する。

- 内燃機関からの駆動力が伝達されるクラッチ入力部と、
変速機に接続されるクラッチ出力部と、

を備える動力伝達装置において、
クラッチ入力部とクラッチ出力部と発進クラッチとはロータ内に配置され、
ロータとクラッチ出力部とを接続する出力側接続状態と、ロータとクラッチ入力部とを接続する入力側接続状態とに切換自在な切換機構を備え、
前記切換機構は、
軸方向に移動自在なスライダと、スライダを移動させるアクチュエータと、前記ロータの径方向内側であって、内燃機関側に配置される内燃機関側ボールと、前記ロータの径方向内側であって、変速機側に配置される変速機側ボールと、を備え、
前記クラッチ出力部には、変速機側ボールを受け入れ可能な出力側受入穴が設けられ、

前記アクチュエータは油圧アクチュエータであり、
油圧アクチュエータは、スライダの軸方向に隣接して配置される油圧室と、油圧室に油圧を供給する油路とを備えることを特徴とする動力伝達装置。 - 内燃機関からの駆動力が伝達されるクラッチ入力部と、
変速機に接続されるクラッチ出力部と、
クラッチ入力部とクラッチ出力部とを接続自在な発進クラッチと、
ロータを有する電動機と、
を備える動力伝達装置において、
クラッチ入力部とクラッチ出力部と発進クラッチとはロータ内に配置され、
ロータとクラッチ出力部とを接続する出力側接続状態と、ロータとクラッチ入力部とを接続する入力側接続状態とに切換自在な切換機構を備え、
前記切換機構は、軸方向に移動自在な円筒状のスライダと、スライダを移動させる油圧アクチュエータと、を備え、
油圧アクチュエータは、スライダの軸方向に隣接して配置される油圧室と、油圧室に油圧を供給する油路とを備え、
スライダの内周面には、変速機側に位置する変速機側内歯と、内燃機関側に位置する内燃機関側内歯とが設けられ、
前記クラッチ出力部には、変速機側内歯と噛合可能な出力側外歯が設けられ、
前記クラッチ入力部には、内燃機関側内歯と噛合可能な入力側外歯が設けられ、
前記切換機構は、スライダが変速機側に位置するときに、変速機側内歯を出力側外歯に係合させて、前記ロータと前記クラッチ出力部とを係合させ、
スライダが内燃機関側に位置するときに、内燃機関側内歯を入力側外歯に係合させて、前記ロータと前記クラッチ入力部とを係合させることを特徴とする動力伝達装置。 - 請求項1から請求項5の何れか1項に記載の動力伝達装置であって、
前記切換機構は、前記出力側接続状態と、前記入力側接続状態とに加えて、前記ロータと前記クラッチ出力部及びクラッチ入力部との接続を断つニュートラル状態に切換自在であることを特徴とする動力伝達装置。
