Description
図1に示すように、本発明の実施例に係る表示装置10は、液晶パネル100、光学シート類200、導光板300、反射シート400、ガイドパネル500、光源600およびラッピングフィルム700を含むことができる。
Claims (12)
- 液晶パネルと、
前記液晶パネルに光を提供する光学部材と、
前記光学部材の前面、側面および背面を包んで、前記液晶パネルと前記光学部材を相互結合させるラッピングフィルム(Wrapping film)と、を含む表示装置であって、
前記ラッピングフィルムは、第1領域と2つの第2領域と2つの第3領域を含み、当該第1領域は、前記光学部材の前面に対応する領域であり、当該第2領域は、前記光学部材の左右の側面に対応する領域であり、当該第3領域は、前記光学部材の背面に対応する領域であり、前記第1領域の左右の側部にそれぞれ第2領域が1つ連なり、各第2領域の左右の側部のうち第1領域が連なる側部と対向する側部に第3領域が1つ連なり、
前記ラッピングフィルムは、前記第1領域の左右の側部に垂直な上側及び下側の側部のうち上側の側部に連なる第5領域をさらに含み、当該第5領域は、前記光学部材の背面の上部縁端領域及び前記光学部材の左右の側面に垂直な上側及び下側の側面のうち上側の側面に対応する領域であり、
表示装置の下側、すなわち光学部材の下側の側面にあって光源が配置される領域に第2ガイドパネルを有し、
前記表示装置の左側、右側そして上側、すなわち光学部材の左側、右側そして上側の側面にある領域にはガイドパネルを具備せず、
前記ラッピングフィルムを利用して、前記液晶パネルと前記光学部材、すなわち、光学シート類、導光板および反射シート、を相互結合させる構造を有し、
前記光学シート類および前記導光板は、前記第2ガイドパネルによって、上部および下部方向への移動が防止されて固定され、
前記表示装置の左右縁端のベゼルを0.6mm以下に減らすことができ、上部縁端のベゼルを1mm以下に減らすことができ、前記表示装置の全体の厚さを1.2mm以下に減らすことができる、表示装置。 - 前記光学部材は、前記光学シート類、当該光学シート類の背面に配置される前記導光板、および当該導光板の背面に配置される前記反射シートを含む請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記ラッピングフィルムの、
当該第1領域は、前記光学シート類の前面に対応し、
当該第2領域は、前記光学部材の側面に対応し、
当該第3領域は、前記反射シートの背面縁端領域に対応する請求項2に記載の表示装置。 - 前記ラッピングフィルムは、光を遮断する遮光印刷領域を含む請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記遮光印刷領域は、前記第1および第3領域の一部領域、および前記第2領域の全体領域に形成される請求項4に記載の表示装置。
- 前記導光板は、当該導光板の側面に形成される第1印刷層を含み、
当該第1印刷層は、光を前記導光板の内部に反射する請求項2に記載の表示装置。 - 前記導光板の側面、上部縁端および下部縁端領域に形成される第2印刷層をさらに含み、
当該第2印刷層は光を遮光する請求項6に記載の表示装置。 - 前記導光板の下側面に配置される第2ガイドパネルと、
前記導光板の下側面と前記第2ガイドパネルとの間に配置される光源と、をさらに含む請求項2に記載の表示装置。 - 前記ラッピングフィルムは、トリアセチルセルロース(Tri Acetyl Cellulose;TAC)フィルム、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(Polyethylene terephthalate;PET)フィルムおよびポリカーボネート(Polycarbonate;PC)フィルムのうちのいずれか一つである請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記導光板は、左側面、右側面、上側面および光入射面である下側面を含み、
前記ラッピングフィルムは、前記導光板の左側面、右側面および上側面のうちの少なくとも一つ以上に対応する請求項2に記載の表示装置。 - 前記導光板の入光面に配置されるガイドパネルと、当該入光面と当該ガイドパネルとの間に配置される光源とをさらに含む請求項2に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第5領域は、前記導光板の入光面と対向する導光板の側面を包む請求項1に記載の表示装置。
