Description

次に、板部材40および液晶パネル11の形状を可変とする構成について説明する。例えば、複数種類の枠部材50を用意し、それぞれの枠部材50の板部材40に対向する辺51A,52Aの形状を異ならせる。これにより、意図する液晶パネル11の形状に応じて枠部材50を交換するだけで液晶パネル11の形状を容易に変更することが可能となる。
図19は、変形例2に係る表示装置2の本体部10の中央部における内部構成を表したものであり、Y方向に平行な断面を表している。本変形例の表示装置2は、本体部10が、表示体として、液晶パネル11に代えて有機EL(Electroluminescence)パネル81を有していることを除いては、上記実施の形態の表示装置1と同様の構成を有している。よって、対応する構成要素には同一の符号を付して説明する。

対向する第1面および第2面を有する可撓性の板部材と、
前記板部材の第1面に設けられ、前記第1面において一方向に延在する枠部材と、
前記板部材の第2面側に配置された可撓性の表示体と
を備えた表示装置。

前記枠部材の延在方向とは異なる方向に伸設された補強構造を備えた
前記(1)記載の表示装置。

前記補強構造は、前記枠部材の延在方向の両端部に配置されている

前記板部材は、前記補強構造として、前記枠部材の延在方向とは異なる方向に伸びる第1の凸条を有する

前記表示体は、液晶パネルと、前記液晶パネルを照明する光源と、前記光源の近傍の放熱板とを有し、
前記放熱板は、前記補強構造を兼ねている

前記板部材は、前記枠部材の延在方向において、前記枠部材の前記板部材に対向する辺または面の形状と同じ形状を有し、
前記表示体は、前記板部材と同じ形状を有している

前記枠部材の前記板部材に対向する辺または面は、前記枠部材の延在方向において全部または一部が湾曲している

- 本体部と、前記本体部を支持するスタンドとを備え、
前記本体部は、
対向する第1面および第2面を有する可撓性の板部材と、
前記板部材の第1面に設けられ、前記第1面において一方向に延在する枠部材と、
前記板部材の第2面側に配置された可撓性の表示体と
を有し、
前記枠部材の前記板部材に対向する辺または面は、後方に凸に湾曲した形状を有し、
前記板部材および前記表示体は、前記枠部材の前記板部材に対向する辺または面に沿って、後方に凸に湾曲し、
前記スタンドは、前記本体部の左右の下部で前記本体部を受けている
表示装置。 - 前記本体部は、前記表示体の左右に設けられたスピーカを更に備え、
前記スピーカは、前記表示体の左右から前記板部材の背後に張り出している
請求項1記載の表示装置。 - 前記板部材は、
前記枠部材の延在方向とは異なる方向に伸びると共に、前記枠部材の延在方向の両端部に配置された第1の凸条と、
前記枠部材の延在方向とは異なる方向に伸びると共に、前記枠部材の延在方向に配列された互いに平行な複数の第2の凸条と
を有し、
前記枠部材は、前記板部材に対向する辺または面に、前記第1の凸条および前記複数の第2の凸条に対する逃げ溝を有する
請求項1または2記載の表示装置。 - 前記枠部材は、平行な上面部および下面部と、前記上面部および前記下面部を繋ぐ側面部とからなる、矩形筒の三面をなす形状を有し、
前記逃げ溝は、前記上面部および前記下面部の前記板部材に対向する辺に設けられている
請求項3記載の表示装置。 - 前記側面部は、左右部を含み、前記左右部は、前方に屈曲している
請求項4記載の表示装置。 - 前記枠部材は、前記板部材の上辺近傍および下辺近傍と、その中間との合計三本設けられ、
前記三本の枠部材の前記板部材に対向する辺または面の形状は同一である
請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。 - 前記表示体は、液晶パネルと、前記液晶パネルを照明する光源と、前記光源の近傍の放熱板とを有し、
前記放熱板は、前記板部材における前記第1の凸条の裏側の凹部内に配置されている
請求項3ないし5のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。 - 前記枠部材の前記板部材に対向する辺または面は、前記枠部材の延在方向において局所的に曲率が異なる
