Claims (7)
- 駆動源から出力される駆動力の一部を副駆動輪に伝達するトランスファと、前記トランスファと副駆動輪との間に介挿されて前記トランスファからの動力を前記副駆動輪に伝達するプロペラシャフトと、前記トランスファ内に設けられ、該トランスファを経て前記プロペラシャフトに伝達される動力を選択的に断接する第1断接機構と、前記プロペラシャフトの下流側と前記副駆動輪との間に設けられ、該プロペラシャフトと該副駆動輪との間の動力を選択的に断接する第2断接機構とを、備える車両用4輪駆動装置であって、
前記第1断接機構の断接状態を切り替えるための第1推力増幅機構と、第1制御クラッチと、第1アクチュエータとが、さらに設けられ、
前記第2断接機構の断接状態を切り替えるための第2推力増幅機構と、第2制御クラッチと、第2アクチュエータとが、さらに設けられ、
前記第1断接機構および前記第2断接機構は、それぞれ一回転軸まわりに回転可能な動力入力軸と動力出力軸と、を接続する第1位置と遮断する第2位置とを取り得るように、前記回転軸方向への移動可能に設けられた切替部材を、それぞれ有し、
前記第1推力増幅機構および前記第2推力増幅機構は、それぞれ前記回転軸まわりに回転可能な一対の回転部材を含んで構成され、該一対の回転部材は、互いに相対回転させられることで軸方向に離間し、前記一対の回転部材の一方が前記各断接機構の前記切替部材を前記回転軸の一方向に移動させるように構成され、
前記第1制御クラッチは、前記第1アクチュエータによって、前記一対の回転部材の他方に回転抑制トルクを付加できるとともに、前記第2制御クラッチは、前記第2アクチュエータによって、前記一対の回転部材の他方に回転抑制トルクを付加できるように構成されており、
前記第1推力増幅機構および前記第2推力増幅機構を構成する前記一対の回転部材のうち一方の回転部材は、それぞれ車速に比例して回転速度が増加する回転部材に相対回転不能に接続されており、
前記第1断接機構および前記第2断接機構の少なくとも一方には、前記動力入力軸と前記動力出力軸とを回転同期させるシンクロ機構が設けられている
ことを特徴とする車両用4輪駆動装置。 - 前記第1推力増幅機構および前記第2推力増幅機構は、ボールカムまたはロータリカムであることを特徴とする請求項1の車両用4輪駆動装置。
- 前記第1アクチュエータおよび前記第2アクチュエータは、それぞれ電磁ソレノイド、モータ機構、または油圧機構で構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1または2の車両用4輪駆動装置。
- 前記第1断接機構および第2断接機構の断接状態を保持するための固定機構がさらに設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3の何れか1の車両用4輪駆動装置。
- 前記プロペラシャフトと前記副駆動輪との間の動力伝達経路上に、前記副駆動輪への伝達トルクを制御する電子制御カップリングが設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4の何れか1の車両用4輪駆動装置。
- 前記第1断接機構および前記第2断接機構の断接を切り替えるための制御装置をさらに備え、
前記制御装置は、前記第1断接機構および前記第2断接機構の両方に前記シンクロ機構が設けられる場合において、走行中に前記第1断接機構および前記第2断接機構を接続する際には、前記電子制御カップリングを開放し、前記第1アクチュエータと前記第2アクチュエータとを作動させる
ことを特徴とする請求項5の車両用4輪駆動装置。 - 前記第1断接機構および前記第2断接機構の断接を切り替えるための制御装置をさらに備え、
前記制御装置は、前記第1断接機構および前記第2断接機構の何れか一方にのみ前記シンクロ機構が設けられる場合において、走行中に前記第1断接機構および前記第2断接機構を接続する際には、前記電子制御カップリングを係合するとともに、前記第1アクチュエータおよび前記第2アクチュエータを作動させる
ことを特徴とする請求項5の車両用4輪駆動装置。
