表1の試料番号01〜07の試料の結果および図5より、脱炭工程における雰囲気ガスの炭素量(Cp値)の影響を調べた。
表1の試料番号04および09〜13の試料の結果および図6より、脱炭工程の加熱温度の影響を調べた。
表1の試料番号04および14〜18の試料の結果および図7より、浸炭工程の炭素量(Cp値)の影響を調べた。
表1の試料番号04および19〜23の試料の結果および図8より、浸炭工程の加熱温度の影響を調べた。
Claims (8)
- 鉄鋼材料製焼結合金からなり、表層部に他の部分よりも炭素濃度が高い硬化層が形成されるとともに、前記硬化層の外側に前記硬化層よりも炭素濃度が低く前記硬化層の最高硬さよりも硬さがHv50以上低い軟化層が形成され、前記軟化層が表面となっており、
表面から内部にかけて連続して変化する硬さ分布を有し、
前記軟化層の表面の硬さがHv730以下であり、
前記硬化層において表面から150〜300μmの範囲で硬さが最大となるとともに、その最大硬さがHv600以上であることを特徴とするピニオンギヤ。 - 全体の密度比が97.8%以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のピニオンギヤ。
- スタータ用ピニオンギヤであることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のピニオンギヤ。
- 鉄鋼材料製焼結合金を構成する原料粉末を混合する混合工程と、
前記原料粉末を圧縮して圧粉体とする成形工程と、
前記圧粉体を焼結して焼結体とする焼結工程と、
前記焼結体を鍛造して鍛造体とする鍛造工程と、
前記鍛造体を雰囲気中の炭素量が0.7〜1.2質量%の浸炭性ガス雰囲気中で、850〜950℃に加熱する浸炭工程と、
前記浸炭工程の後に雰囲気中の炭素量が0.3〜0.6質量%のガス雰囲気中で、800〜950℃に加熱する脱炭工程と、
前記脱炭工程の後に急冷する焼入れ工程と、
前記焼入れ工程の後に、150〜280℃に加熱して常温まで冷却する焼戻し工程と、
を備えることにより、
表面の硬さをHv730以下とし、
表面から150〜300μmの範囲で硬さを最大とするとともに、その最大硬さをHv600以上とすることを特徴とするピニオンギヤの製造方法。 - 前記浸炭工程に引き続き、加熱したまま雰囲気を置換して前記脱炭工程を行うことを特徴とする請求項4に記載のピニオンギヤの製造方法。
- 前記浸炭工程の直後に油中に投入して焼入れした後、再度加熱して前記脱炭工程を行うことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の焼結部材ピニオンギヤの製造方法。
- 前記鍛造により、密度比を97.8%以上にすることを特徴とする請求項4〜6のいずれかに記載のピニオンギヤの製造方法。
- 請求項4〜7のいずれかに記載のピニオンギヤの製造方法により製造されることを特徴とするスタータ用ピニオンギヤの製造方法。
