Description
排気が通る筒状シェルの径方向に流路管を配置し、前記流路管を内燃機関の排気流路に接続して、通過する前記排気を浄化する排気浄化装置において、
前記筒状シェルの一方の端を塞ぐ蓋部材を設け、前記筒状シェルの前記一方の端に前記流路管を嵌着可能なシェル側嵌着溝を形成すると共に、前記蓋部材に前記流路管を嵌着可能な蓋側嵌着溝を形成し、前記両嵌着溝に前記流路管を嵌着して前記流路管を挟んだことを特徴とする排気浄化装置がそれである。
図1に示すように、1は排気浄化装置で、排気浄化装置1は図示しない排気流路に介装されており、例えば、排気浄化装置1は酸化触媒6とディーゼル・パティキュレート・フィルタ(以下、DPFという。)8とを備えると共に、酸化触媒6とDPF8とを収納する容器10を備えている。
図示しない内燃機関からの排気が排気流路を介して、容器10内に流入すると、排気は酸化触媒6とDPF8とを通り、酸化触媒6により、排気中の炭化水素を二酸化炭素と水に変化させ、一酸化炭素を酸化して二酸化炭素に変化させる。また、排気中の窒素酸化物の内、一酸化窒素を二酸化窒素に変化させる。また、DPF8により、排気中のすすが燃焼され、排気が浄化される。
本第2実施形態では、筒状シェル16の一方の端に、シェル側嵌着溝20が1箇所形成されており、シェル側嵌着溝20に沿って折返し部24が形成されている。また、第2実施形態の流路管14aは、前述した実施形態の流路管14よりも長さが短く、シェル側嵌着溝20に流路管14aを嵌着した際に、流路管14aの先端が筒状シェル16内で開口するように形成されている。

Claims (4)
- 排気が通る筒状シェルの径方向に流路管を配置し、前記流路管を内燃機関の排気流路に接続して、通過する前記排気を浄化する排気浄化装置において、
前記筒状シェルの一方の端を塞ぐ蓋部材を設け、前記筒状シェルの前記一方の端に前記流路管を嵌着可能なシェル側嵌着溝を形成すると共に、前記蓋部材に前記流路管を嵌着可能な蓋側嵌着溝を形成し、前記両嵌着溝に前記流路管を嵌着して前記流路管を挟んでおり、
前記筒状シェル及び前記蓋部材は、前記各嵌着溝に沿って折り返した折返し部を有し、
前記筒状シェルの前記折返し部と前記蓋部材の前記折返し部とが重なり合うように、前記蓋部材の前記折返し部の一部が外側に膨らんでいることを特徴とする排気浄化装置。 - 前記筒状シェルと前記蓋部材とに一対の前記シェル側嵌着溝と一対の前記蓋側嵌着溝とを同芯上に形成したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の排気浄化装置。
- 前記流路管の外周に複数の貫通孔を形成すると共に、前記流路管の一端を閉塞したことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の排気浄化装置。
- 前記流路管の端は前記筒状シェル内で開口したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の排気浄化装置。
