Description
Claims (20)
- 第1の流体導管を1つまたは複数の他の流体導管に結合する結合方法であって、
第1の流体導管部分と少なくとも1つの他の流体導管部分との間に実質的に直接のインターフェイスを形成するように、第1の流体導管部分を少なくとも1つの他の流体導管部分と実質的に接触させて位置決めするステップと、
結合領域が加熱された後、結合領域に固体熱可塑性ポリマーを外側から加えるステップと、
固体熱可塑性ポリマーが結合領域に外側から加えられた結果として、固体熱可塑性ポリマーを液化するステップとを含み、固体熱可塑性ポリマーが結合領域に外側から加えられるまで、結合領域には熱可塑性ポリマーが無く、前記結合方法がさらに、
実質的に流体密結合が第1の流体導管部分と少なくとも1つの他の流体導管部分との間に確立され、冷却された熱可塑性ポリマーが実質的に直接のインターフェイスを囲む、熱可塑性ポリマーを冷却するステップを含む、結合方法。 - 第1の流体導管部分および少なくとも1つの他の流体導管部分の内径が実質的に等しい、請求項1に記載の結合方法。
- 第1の流体導管部分の内径が、少なくとも1つの他の流体導管部分の内径より大きい、請求項1に記載の結合方法。
- 第1の流体導管部分および少なくとも1つの他の流体導管部分が、流体密継手を形成するように結合された導管開口部である、請求項1に記載の結合方法。
- 少なくとも1つの他の流体導管部分が、第1の流体導管部分の実質的に平坦な外側部分に結合されている、請求項1に記載の結合方法。
- 第2の導管部分が、少なくとも1つの第1の流体導管部分および少なくとも1つの他の流体導管部分の外表面の周囲に形成される、請求項1に記載の結合方法。
- 少なくとも1つの他の流体導管部分が、第1の流体導管内に入れ子状になっている、請求項1に記載の結合方法。
- 犠牲スリーブによって結合領域周辺に液化熱可塑性ポリマーが含まれる、請求項1に記載の結合方法。
- 犠牲スリーブが熱伝導性である、請求項8に記載の結合方法。
- 犠牲スリーブが金属箔である、請求項8に記載の結合方法。
- 液化熱可塑性ポリマーが、予備成形物として結合領域に位置決めすることによって結合領域に案内される、請求項1に記載の結合方法。
- 液化熱可塑性ポリマーが、結合領域の近くに位置決めされた熱可塑性ポリマーからなるフィラーロッドから結合領域に案内される、請求項1に記載の結合方法。
- 導管が溶融シリカでできている、請求項1に記載の結合方法。
- ポリマーが、非酸化雰囲気で液化される、請求項1に記載の結合方法。
- ポリマーが、ポリアリールケトン、熱可塑性フルオロポリマー、ポリイミド、ポリフェニレン、およびポリオレフィンからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の結合方法。
- ポリアリールケトンが、ポリアリールエーテルケトンである、請求項15に記載の結合方法。
- ポリアリールエーテルケトンが、ポリエーテルエーテルケトンである、請求項16に記載の結合方法。
