Description
(項目1)
内燃機関の潤滑方法であって、前記機関に、
(a)潤滑粘度の油と;
(b)油溶性チタン含有材料の形態における100万重量部当たり約1〜約80重量部のチタンと;
(c)Ti含有清浄剤以外の、約0.1〜約5重量パーセントの金属含有サリチレート清浄剤と
を含む潤滑組成物を供給するステップを含む方法。
(項目2)
前記油溶性チタン含有材料が、チタンアルコキシドを含む、項目1に記載の方法。
(項目3)
前記油溶性チタン含有材料が、チタン改質分散剤、チタン塩とした、またはチタンにキレート結合したトリルトリアゾールオリゴマー、クエン酸チタン、グリコールに由来するチタン化合物(上述のそれぞれが20,000未満の数平均分子量を有する)、および表面改質TiO 2 ナノ粒子からなる群から選択される、項目1に記載の方法。
(項目4)
前記油溶性チタン含有材料が、チタンアルコキシドとヒドロカルビル置換コハク酸イミド分散剤との反応生成物であるチタン改質コハク酸イミド分散剤を含む、項目1から3のいずれかに記載の方法。
(項目5)
前記チタンの量が、100万重量部当たり約5〜約40重量部である、項目1から4のいずれかに記載の方法。
(項目6)
前記チタンの量が、100万重量部当たり約10〜約30重量部である、項目1から4のいずれかに記載の方法。
(項目7)
前記金属含有サリチレート清浄剤が、過塩基性サリチル酸カルシウム清浄剤である、項目1から6のいずれかに記載の方法。
(項目8)
前記潤滑組成物が、(d)ボレート化エステルから選択される非リン含有耐摩耗剤をさらに含む、項目1から7のいずれかに記載の方法。
(項目9)
前記組成物中のモリブデンの量が、100万重量部当たり150重量部未満であり、また前記組成物が、100万重量部当たり1200重量部未満のリンを含有する、項目1から8のいずれかに記載の方法。
(項目10)
前記機関が、ディーゼルエンジンである、項目1から9のいずれかに記載の方法。
(項目11)
(a)潤滑粘度の油と;
(b)チタン改質分散剤、チタン塩とした、またはチタンにキレート結合したトリルトリアゾールオリゴマー、クエン酸チタン、グリコールに由来するチタン化合物、および表面改質TiO 2 ナノ粒子からなる群から選択される、油溶性チタン含有材料の形態における100万重量部当たり約1〜約80重量部のチタンと;
(c)Ti含有清浄剤以外の、約0.1〜約5重量パーセントの金属含有サリチレート清浄剤と
を含む潤滑組成物。
(項目12)
(d)ボレート化エステルから選択される非リン含有耐摩耗剤からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種の添加剤をさらに含む、項目11に記載の組成物。
(項目13)
項目11または項目12に記載の成分を組み合わせるステップを含む、潤滑組成物の調製方法。
内燃機関の潤滑方法であって、前記機関に
(a)潤滑粘度の油と;
(b)油溶性チタン含有材料の形態における100万重量部当たり1〜80重量部のチタンと;
(c)Ti含有清浄剤以外の、0.1〜5重量パーセントの金属含有サリチレート清浄剤と
を含む潤滑組成物を供給するステップを含む方法。
(a)潤滑粘度の油と;
(b)チタン改質分散剤、チタン塩とした、またはチタンにキレート結合したトリルトリアゾールオリゴマー、クエン酸チタン、グリコールに由来するチタン化合物、および表面改質TiO2ナノ粒子からなる群から選択される、油溶性チタン含有材料の形態における100万重量部当たり1〜80重量部のチタンと;
(c)Ti含有清浄剤以外の、0.1〜5重量パーセントの金属含有サリチレート清浄剤と
を含む潤滑組成物を提供する。
炭化水素置換基、すなわち、脂肪族(例えばアルキルまたはアルケニル)置換基、脂環式(例えばシクロアルキル、シクロアルケニル)置換基、ならびに芳香族−、脂肪族−および脂環式−置換された芳香族置換基、同様に、分子の他の部分によって環が完成される(例えば、2つの置換基が一緒になって環を形成する)環状置換基;
置換された炭化水素置換基、すなわち、本発明の文脈において、その置換基の、主として炭化水素の特性を変化させない非炭化水素基(例えば、ハロ(特にクロロおよびフルオロ)、ヒドロキシ、アルコキシ、メルカプト、アルキルメルカプト、ニトロ、ニトロソおよびスルホキシ)を含有する置換基;
ヘテロ置換基、すなわち、本発明の文脈において、主として炭化水素の特質を有しながら,他の点では炭素原子で構成される環または分子鎖中に炭素以外を含有する置換基。ヘテロ原子は硫黄、酸素、窒素を含み、またピリジル、フリル、チエニルおよびイミダゾリルなどの置換基を包含する。一般に、ヒドロカルビル基では、炭素原子10個毎にわずか2個以下の、好ましくは1個以下の非炭化水素基しか存在しないであろう;典型的には、ヒドロカルビル基中には非炭化水素置換基は存在しないであろう。
6重量%粘度調整剤、
0.2%流動点降下剤、
7.2%コハク酸イミド分散剤、
1%ジアルキルジチオリン酸亜鉛、
0.85%ヒンダードフェノール性エステルおよび芳香族アミン酸化防止剤、
1.9〜2.1%の下表に示した完全過塩基性清浄剤(油を含まない基準で報告される)(それぞれ最初に27〜51%の油と一緒に供給される)、
0または0.015%の、表中に示したチタンイソプロポキシド
を含有する。
Claims (14)
- 内燃機関の潤滑方法であって、前記機関に、
(a)潤滑粘度の鉱油と;
(b)油溶性チタン含有材料の形態における100万重量部当たり1〜80重量部のチタンであって、前記油溶性チタン含有材料が、チタンアルコキシド、またはチタンアルコキシドとヒドロカルビル置換コハク酸イミド分散剤との反応生成物であるチタン改質コハク酸イミド分散剤を含む、チタンと;
(c)Ti含有清浄剤以外の、0.3〜3重量パーセントの金属含有サリチレート清浄剤であって、前記金属含有サリチレート清浄剤が、過塩基性サリチル酸カルシウム清浄剤である、金属含有サリチレート清浄剤と;
(d)スルホネート清浄剤およびフェネート清浄剤からなる群から選択される1種以上の清浄剤と
を含む潤滑組成物を供給するステップを含む方法。 - 前記チタンアルコキシドが、チタンイソプロポキシドである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記スルホネート清浄剤が、85〜300の範囲内のTBNを有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記フェネート清浄剤が、145〜225の範囲内のTBNを有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記チタンの量が、100万重量部当たり5〜40重量部である、請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記チタンの量が、100万重量部当たり10〜30重量部である、請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記潤滑組成物が、(e)ボレート化エステルから選択される非リン含有耐摩耗剤をさらに含む、請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記組成物中のモリブデンの量が、100万重量部当たり150重量部未満であり、また前記組成物が、100万重量部当たり1200重量部未満のリンを含有する、請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記機関が、ディーゼルエンジンである、請求項1から8のいずれかに記載の方法。
- (a)潤滑粘度の鉱油と;
(b)油溶性チタン含有材料の形態における100万重量部当たり1〜80重量部のチタンであって、前記油溶性チタン含有材料が、チタンアルコキシド、またはチタンアルコキシドとヒドロカルビル置換コハク酸イミド分散剤との反応生成物であるチタン改質コハク酸イミド分散剤を含む、チタンと;
(c)Ti含有清浄剤以外の、0.3〜3重量パーセントの金属含有サリチレート清浄剤であって、前記金属含有サリチレート清浄剤が、過塩基性サリチル酸カルシウム清浄剤である、金属含有サリチレート清浄剤と;
(d)スルホネート清浄剤およびフェネート清浄剤からなる群から選択される1種以上の清浄剤と
を含む潤滑組成物。 - 前記スルホネート清浄剤が、85〜300の範囲内のTBNを有する、請求項10に記載の潤滑組成物。
- 前記フェネート清浄剤が、145〜225の範囲内のTBNを有する、請求項10に記載の潤滑組成物。
- (e)ボレート化エステルから選択される非リン含有耐摩耗剤からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種の添加剤をさらに含む、請求項10、11または12に記載の組成物。
- 請求項10、11、12または13に記載の成分を組み合わせるステップを含む、潤滑組成物の調製方法。
