Description
技術分野
この発明は、血管内疾患の治療のために人または動物の体内に管腔内装置を埋込むための送達システムに関する。この発明は、特に、管腔内装置の対側部分を挿管するための新規なカテーテルシステムを備えた送達システムに関する。
人および動物の身体における血管および脈管などの機能的な管は、弱まったり破裂したりする場合がある。たとえば、大動脈壁が弱まると、結果として動脈瘤が生じる可能性がある。弱まった血管、動脈瘤血管または破裂した血管に対する外科的介入の一例として、血管を置換または治療するためのステントグラフトの使用が挙げられる。ステントグラフトは、1つ以上のステントと組合せて生体適合性材料のチューブから形成されてもよく、これを通じて管腔を維持し得る。ステントは、ステントをグラフト材料に縫い合わせたり、ステントをグラフト材料に埋込んだり、ステントをグラフト材料に接着接合したりする等のさまざまな方法でグラフト材料に取付けられる。
本発明は、血管内疾患の治療のために人または動物の体内に管腔内装置を埋込むための送達システムに関する。特に、この発明は、追加のプロテーゼモジュールを迅速かつ正確に配置するために管腔内装置の対側肢部を有効に挿管するための新規な送達システムを含む送達システムに関する。
送達装置は、カテーテル上に装着されたプロテーゼ装置と、少なくとも部分的にプロテーゼ装置をおおうシースとを含む送達カテーテルを少なくとも備える。送達装置にはさらにスネア(snare)カテーテルが設けられており、スネアカテーテルの内部には、スネア(snare)機構が配置されている。スネアカテーテルは、当該カテーテルの側部にスネア(snare)開口システムを備える。スネア機構は、スネアカテーテルの開口システムを介してループを形成し、装置の遠位端に2つの自由端を有し得る。

Claims (8)
- 血管内送達システム(20)であって、
送達装置と、
前記送達装置上に配置され、本体(12)、第1の肢部(14)および第2の肢部(16)を有する分岐したプロテーゼ(10)とを含み、前記第1の肢部および前記第2の肢部の各々は管腔を備え、前記血管内送達システムはさらに、
近位端、遠位端、前記近位端と前記遠位端との間に管腔、および、前記近位端と前記遠位端との間にスネア開口システム(44)を有するスネアカテーテル(40)と、
前記プロテーゼの少なくとも一部および前記スネアカテーテルの少なくとも一部にわたって摺動可能に配置されるシース(22)と、
前記スネアカテーテル内に配置され、前記スネアカテーテルの外部にループを形成し、前記スネアカテーテルの遠位端から出る少なくとも1つの自由端を備えることのできるスネア機構(42)とを含み、
前記スネアカテーテルの少なくとも一部が前記プロテーゼの外部に沿って位置決めされ、前記スネアカテーテルの少なくとも一部が、前記第1の肢部および前記第2の肢部のうちのより短い方の前記管腔内に位置決めされる、血管内送達システム。 - 前記スネアカテーテル(40)は、前記スネアカテーテル内に、前記スネア開口システム(44)に近位側に隣接しているスネア塞ぎ機構(58)をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の血管内送達システム。
- 前記スネア開口システム(44)が少なくとも1つの穴(52;54,56)を含む、請求項1または2に記載の血管内送達システム。
- 前記スネア開口システムが2つの穴(54,56)を含む、請求項1または2に記載の血管内送達システム。
- 前記スネア機構(42)が少なくとも1つのワイヤ(46)を含む、請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の血管内送達システム。
- 前記スネア機構(42)は複数のワイヤを含み、前記複数のワイヤのうち少なくとも1つが撮像可能である、請求項5に記載の血管内送達システム。
- 前記第1の肢部(14)は前記第2の肢部(16)よりも長い、請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の血管内送達システム。
- 前記スネアカテーテルのうち前記プロテーゼ(10)の外部に位置決めされた部分が、より長い前記第1の肢部(14)に隣接しており、前記スネアカテーテルのうち前記スネア開口システム(44)の近位にある一部が、より短い前記第2の肢部(16)内に位置決めされる、請求項7に記載の血管内送達システム。
