Description
しかしながら、識別・装飾用粘着シート、塗装マスキング用粘着シート、金属板などの表面保護用粘着シートなど、粘着シートの面積がある程度広い場合には、粘着剤層と被着体との間に空気の溜まりが発生しやすく、その部分が「ふくれ」となって、粘着シートを被着体にきれいに貼付できにくいという問題があった。
このような問題を解決するために、これまで、粘着剤層面に空気流通経路を設け、粘着シートの貼付時に、空気をこの流通経路を介して逃し、空気溜まりが発生しないようにすることが行われてきた(例えば、特許文献1)。また、それら空気流通経路の配置あるいは配置パターンに関し、直径500μmの円形領域に必ず溝が存在すること、即ち、隣接する溝と溝の間隔が小さいことを規定した粘着シート(特許文献2)、凹条溝を貼付方向に対して斜め格子状に設けた易貼付性粘着シート(特許文献3)などが提案されている。
しかしながら、これら粘着シートは一般に、空気流通経路としての溝の幅が狭いと空気が抜けにくく、溝の幅が広いと表面基材が凹んで外観が悪くなるという問題があった。特に、十分な接着力を得るために隣接する溝と溝の間隔を大きくとるときは、溝の幅を広くしなければならないため、表面基材が凹んで外観が悪くなる。
すなわち、本発明は、
(1)基材シート上に、表面に該基材シートの端縁部上に開口する溝を有する空気流通経路が設けられている粘着剤層を有する粘着シートであって、空気流通経路が複数の溝からなり、該空気流通経路において、溝の開口幅が3〜100μm、隣り合う溝間の距離が1〜100μmであり、かつ、空気流通経路の幅が7〜900μm、隣り合う空気流通経路間の距離が200〜3000μmであることを特徴とする易貼付性粘着シート;
(2)空気流通経路が、2〜5本の平行する溝からなる上記(1)に記載の易貼付性粘着シート;
(3)空気流通経路が、交差角40〜140°の格子状パターンを形成していることを特徴とする上記(1)又は(2)に記載の易貼付性粘着シート;
(4)溝が、V字形、U字形、長方形又は台形の断面形状を有する上記(1)〜(3)のいずれかに記載の易貼付性粘着シート;
(5)溝の深さが、5〜50μmである上記(1)〜(4)のいずれかに記載の易貼付性粘着シート;
(6)粘着剤層の厚さが7〜100μmである上記(1)〜(5)のいずれかに記載の易貼付性粘着シート;
(7)表面に形状転写面を有する剥離処理層が設けられた剥離シートの該剥離処理層上に粘着剤層を形成した後、この粘着剤層に基材シートを貼合することを特徴とする上記(1)〜(6)のいずれかに記載の易貼付性粘着シートの製造方法;
を提供するものである。
本発明の粘着シートは、特に看板、壁、車両等の装飾用大型粘着シートとして好適である。
基材シートとしては、例えば上質紙、グラシン紙、コート紙などの紙類、ポリエステル(例えばポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリエチレンナフタレート)、ポリオレフィン(例えばポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン)、ポリ塩化ビニル、ポリ塩化ビニリデン、ポリスチレン、ポリカーボネート、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリウレタン、アクリル系樹脂などのプラスチックシート、セルローストリアセテート、セルロースジアセテート、セロハンなどのセルロース系シートなどが挙げられる。基材シートの厚さは、使用目的や状況に応じて適宜定めればよいが、通常10〜300μm、好ましくは30〜150μmの範囲である。
また、基材シートとしてプラスチックシートを用いる場合には、その上に設けられる粘着剤層との接着性を向上させる目的で、所望により、サンドブラストや溶剤処理などによる凹凸化処理、あるいはコロナ放電処理、オゾン・紫外線照射処理、火炎処理、クロム酸処理、熱風処理などの酸化処理などを施すことができる。
格子状パターンを構成する空気流通経路のピッチは、両方向において同一でも異なっていてもよいが、空気抜きのためのスクイズ時、方向性が問われないためには、同一もしくは近似した値であることが好ましい。
また、格子状パターンを構成する両方向の空気流通経路がなす交差角は40〜140°であることが好ましい。
溝の深さEは、5〜50μmであることが好ましく、5〜25μmであることがより好ましい。
溝の断面形状は、V字形、U字形、長方形又は台形などが好ましい。
また、空気流通経路を構成する平行溝の本数は2〜5本であることが好ましい。
隣り合う空気流通経路間の距離Dは、200〜3000μmであることを要し、好ましくは400〜2000μmの範囲で選定される。
温度計、攪拌機、還流冷却管、窒素ガス導入管を備えた反応装置を用い、ブチルアクリレートモノマー90重量部、アクリル酸モノマー10重量部を仕込み、アゾビスイソブチロニトリル0.3重量部を加え、窒素ガス雰囲気下80℃で8時間重合した。反応終了後、トルエンにて固形分34%に調整し、重量平均分子量50万のアクリル系共重合体溶液を得た。この共重合体溶液100重量部にイソシアネート系架橋剤(東洋インキ製造(株)製 BHS8515)を2重量部加え、粘着剤溶液を作製した。
100g/m2の上質紙にポリエチレン層、シリコーン層を順次設けた剥離シートに、第1表の寸法、本数の長方形溝からなる空気流通経路の格子状パターンである凹凸形状を有する金属ロールを加熱圧着して、表面に形状転写面を有する剥離処理層が設けられた剥離シートを作製した。
上記の剥離シートに製造例1で得た粘着剤溶液を塗布し、溶剤を乾燥した後、更に厚さ50μmの塩化ビニルシートを貼り合わせることで、粘着剤層の表面に第1表に示す寸法、本数の長方形溝からなる空気流通経路の格子状パターンを有する粘着シートを作製した。
(1)「空気溜まり消失試験」
50mm×50mmに裁断した粘着シートを直径約15mmの円形の空気溜まりができるようにメラミン塗装板に載せ、スキージーで空気溜まり部を押し出すようにこすり、空気溜まりの有無を観察した。その結果、空気溜まりが容易に消失した場合を○、空気溜まりが消失していない場合を×とした。
(2)「外観試験」
上記の空気溜まり消失試験を行った結果の試料を観察し、空気流通経路が表面基材の凹凸として肉眼で認識できない場合を○、認識できる場合を×とした。
本発明の粘着シートは、特に看板、壁、車両等の装飾用大型粘着シートとして好適である。

Claims (7)
- 基材シート上に、表面に該基材シートの端縁部上に開口する溝を有する空気流通経路が設けられている粘着剤層を有する粘着シートであって、空気流通経路が複数の溝からなり、該空気流通経路において、溝の開口幅が3〜100μm、隣り合う溝間の距離が1〜100μmであり、かつ、空気流通経路の幅が7〜900μm、隣り合う空気流通経路間の距離が200〜3000μmであることを特徴とする易貼付性粘着シート。
- 空気流通経路が、2〜5本の平行する溝からなる請求項1に記載の易貼付性粘着シート。
- 空気流通経路が、交差角40〜140°の格子状パターンを形成していることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の易貼付性粘着シート。
- 溝が、V字形、U字形、長方形又は台形の断面形状を有する請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の易貼付性粘着シート。
- 溝の深さが、5〜50μmである請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の易貼付性粘着シート。
- 粘着剤層の厚さが7〜100μmである請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の易貼付性粘着シート。
- 表面に形状転写面を有する剥離処理層が設けられた剥離シートの該剥離処理層上に粘着剤層を形成した後、この粘着剤層に基材シートを貼合することを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の易貼付性粘着シートの製造方法。
