Description
(1) 主鎖がアクリル酸エステル系の重合体である変成シリコーン系ポリマーと、
安息香酸エステル系可塑剤と、
を含むことを特徴とする複層ガラス用二次シーリング材組成物。
(2) 前記安息香酸エステル系可塑剤を、組成物中に5質量%以上30質量%以下含むことを特徴とする上記(1)に記載の複層ガラス用二次シーリング材組成物。
(3) 上記(1)又は(2)に記載の複層ガラス用二次シーリング材組成物を二次シーリング材として用いた複層ガラス。
変成シリコーン系ポリマーは、加水分解性シリル基を含有する重合体である。変成シリコーン系ポリマーは、ケイ素原子に結合したヒドロキシ基および/または加水分解性基により、シロキサン結合を形成し架橋して硬化物となる性質を有する。変成シリコーン系ポリマーは、その主鎖としては、例えば、ポリエーテル重合体、ポリエステル重合体、エーテル/エステルブロック共重合体、エチレン性不飽和化合物重合体、ジエン系化合物重合体が挙げられる。加水分解性シリル基はこのような主鎖の末端または側鎖に結合していればよい。
安息香酸エステル系可塑剤としては、例えば、エチレングリコール、ジエチレングリコール、トリエチレングリコール、テトラエチレングリコール、プロピレングリコール、ジプロピレングリコール、トリプロピレングリコール、テトラプロピレングリコール、2,2,4−トリメチル−1,3−ペンタンジオールの安息香酸エステル、ポリエチレングリコール、プロピレングリコール、ジプロピレングリコール、トリプロピレングリコール、1,3−ブタンジオール、1,4−ブタンジオール、1,6−ヘキサンジオール、3−メチル−1,5−ペンタンジオール、1,8−オクタンジオールのジ安息香酸エステル、ヒドロキシピバリン酸ネオペンチルグリコールエステルまたはそれらの混合物が挙げられる。具体的には、EB−400(三洋化成工業社製)などが挙げられる。
次に、本実施形態に係る複層ガラスについて以下に説明する。本実施形態に係る複層ガラスは、本実施形態の組成物を二次シーリング材として用いたものである。図1は、本実施形態に係る複層ガラスの構成の一例を模式的に示す断面図である。図1に示すように、本実施形態に係る複層ガラス(本実施形態の複層ガラス)10は、2枚のガラス板11と、スペーサ12と、一次シーリング材13と、二次シーリング材14とを含むものである。2枚のガラス板11はスペーサ12を介して互いに対向して配置されている。一次シーリング材13は2枚のガラス板11とスペーサ12との間の一部または全部を封止する。2枚のガラス板11とスペーサ12との間を一次シーリング材13で封止することにより、2枚のガラス板11の間には中空層15が形成される。二次シーリング材14は、一次シーリング材13およびスペーサ12の中空層15とは反対側の外周面と、2枚のガラス板11の内面とにより形成される空隙の一部または全部を封止する。二次シーリング材14は、本実施形態の組成物を充填し硬化させて得られるものである。スペーサ12はその内部に乾燥剤(吸湿材)を有してもよい。
下記表1の各成分を、表1に示す組成(質量部)の主剤および硬化剤をそれぞれ調製し、表1に示される各主剤および硬化剤をかくはん機を用いて混合し、二液型の複層ガラス用二次シーリング材組成物を得て、シーリング材を作製した。各々の実施例、比較例における各成分の添加量(質量部)を表1に示す。
上記で得られた各シーリング材を、JIS A 1439に準拠して試験を行い、初期養生後(20℃×7日+50℃×7日)の最大引張応力(N/mm2)と、更に温水浸漬後(90℃×14日)の最大引張応力(N/mm2)とを測定した。2枚のガラス板の間にシーリング材を充填した2形(H形)の試験体(H形試験体)を用いて引張接着性試験により評価した。そして、温水に浸漬した後の最大引張応力の保持率を下記式(1)により算出した。なお、初期養生とは、H型試験体を25℃で7日間放置した後、50℃で7日間放置した後である。また、別のH型試験体を、初期養生後、90℃の温水に14日間浸漬した後、上述と同様に、最大引張応力を測定した。温水に浸漬した後の最大引張応力の保持率の測定結果を表1に示す。保持率が70%以上の場合には、破断強度が良好であると判断した。

・炭酸カルシウム1:白艶華CCR、白石工業社製
・炭酸カルシウム2:スーパーS、丸尾カルシウム社製
・硬化触媒:オクチル酸スズ
・カーボンブラック:商品名「MA600」、三菱化学社製

- 主鎖がアクリル酸エステル系の重合体である変成シリコーン系ポリマーと、
安息香酸エステル系可塑剤と、
を含むことを特徴とする複層ガラス用二次シーリング材組成物。 - 前記安息香酸エステル系可塑剤を、組成物中に5質量%以上30質量%以下含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の複層ガラス用二次シーリング材組成物。
- 請求項1または2に記載の複層ガラス用二次シーリング材組成物を二次シーリング材として用いた複層ガラス。
