Description
本発明で言うオレフィン系樹脂とは、エチレン、プロピレン、ブタジエン、イソプレン等のオレフィン、あるいはジオレフィンを重合または共重合した重合体の総称であり、エチレンとビニルアセテート、アクリル酸エステルなど他のモノマーとの共重合体やアイオノマーなども含む。具体的には、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリメチルペンテン、エチレン/塩化ビニル共重合体、エチレン/ビニルアセテート共重合体、エチレン/ビニルアルコール共重合体、塩素化ポリエチレン、塩素化ポリプロピレン等が挙げられる。中でも、広く使用されているのは、EVAという略称で呼ばれる、エチレンービニルアセテート共重合体である。EVAは、粘着剤や接着剤として塗工される場合や、シート状で使われる場合があるが、シート状で熱圧着して使われることが一般的である。そのシートの厚みは、0.2mmから5.0mm程度のものが代表的である。
XR2Si(OR1)3や(XR2)(YR3)Si(OR1)2
(ここで、R1はメチル基またはエチル基で代表されるアルキル基やメトキシアルキル基等の置換アルキル基であり、R2、R3はそれぞれ独立してプロピレン基等のアルキレン基、X、Yはそれぞれ独立して有機官能基である)。
(1)ポリマーの極限粘度[η](dl/g)の測定方法
ポリマー1gをフェノール/テトラクロロエタン=50/50(重量比)の混合溶媒100ml中に溶解させ、ウベローデ型粘度計にて30℃で測定した
フィルムを長さ方向および幅方向に35mm幅×1000mm長の短冊状にサンプルを切り出し無張力状態にて150℃に設定されたオーブン(タバイエスペック(株)製:熱風循環炉)中に30分間熱処理を行い、熱処理前後の長さを直尺により測定し、下記式にて熱収縮率を求めた。
熱収縮率(%)=[(a−b)/a]×100
(上記式中、aは熱処理前のサンプルの長さ(mm)、bは熱処理後のサンプルの長さ(mm)を表す)
厚さ560μmのEVAの両面にポリエステルフィルムの塗布層面を重ね、上下を温度130℃に加熱したヒートシラーにて、圧力0.16MPaにて、60秒間ヒートシールした。 ヒートシールに際しては、ヒートシールをしない部分を残し、剥離試験を開始する部分とし、この部分から両面のポリステルフィルムを180度方向に、スピード0.5m/分で剥離し、剥離強度を測定した。接着性は、次の3段階の基準で評価した。
評価3:剥離強度が、3.5N/20mm幅以上
評価2:剥離強度が、1.0N/20mm幅〜3.4N/20mm幅
評価1:剥離強度が、1.0N/20mm幅未満
実用的には、評価3は全く問題なく使用でき、評価2も使用できる範囲と判断した。
通常の溶融宿重合法にて、平均粒径が2.5μmの非晶質シリカを0.08部含有する極限粘度0.66のポリエチレンテレフタレートチップを得た。このチップを乾燥し、水分を50ppm以下としてから、295℃にて溶融し、冷却したドラム上に溶融押し出して無定型シートを得、次いで85℃〜100℃にて縦に3.5倍に延伸して縦一軸延伸フィルムを得た。このフィルムに下記の塗布液Aをグラビアコーターにて5μm塗布し、90℃〜120℃の雰囲気で横に4.0倍延伸し、次いで235℃にて熱処理して、フィルム厚み50μmの二軸延伸ポリエステルフィルムをロール状に巻き上げた。このフィルムの150℃で30分の熱収縮率は、縦1.0%、横0.3%だった。このフィルムの塗布面のEVAとの接着性は、4.0N/20mm幅で評価3だった。
下記の化合物(1)〜(4)の固形分が下記部数となるように水を媒体とする塗布液(濃度10%)を調整した。
(1)大日本インキ化学工業社製ポリウレタンであるハイドラン AP−40(商品名)が60部
(2)三洋化成社製ポリウレタンであるパーマリン UA310(商品名)が10部
(3)大日本インキ化学工業社製ポリエステルからなるファインテックス ES−670が20部
(4)アルキロールメラミンが10部
通常の重合法で、全く粒子を含有しない極限粘度0.70のポリエチレンテレフタレートのチップAを得た。このチップ60部に対して、粒径0.3μmのアナターゼ型酸化チタンを40部配合し、混練装置にて良く混練りし、押し出してチップBを得た。チップAを65部とチップBを35部配合し、実施例1と同様の方法で、塗布液Aを設層した厚み50μmの白色の二軸延伸ポリエステルフィルムをロール状に巻き上げた。このフィルムの150℃で30分の熱収縮率は、縦1.0%、横0.3%だった。このフィルムの塗布面のEVAとの接着性は、4.0N/20mm幅で極評価3だった。
実施例2の塗布液をN−β(アミノエチル)γ−アミノプロピルトリメトキシシランの8%エタノール溶液に変更する以外は、実施例2と同様にして二軸延伸ポリエステルフィルムを得た。このフィルムの塗布面のEVAとの接着性は、1.0N/20mm幅で評価2だった。
実施例1にて塗布層を設けない以外は同様にして、二軸延伸ポリエステルフィルムを得た。このフィルムのEVAとの接着性は、0.3N/20mm幅で評価1だった。
実施例1の塗布液を下記の塗布液Bとする以外は、実施例1と同様にして2軸延伸ポリエステルフィルムを得た。このフィルムのEVAとの接着性は、0.3N/20mm幅で評価1だった。
塗布液B:下記の化合物(1)および(2)の固形分が下記部数となるように水を媒体とする塗布液(濃度10%)を調整した。
(1)日本純薬社製ポリアクリルであるジュリマーM−918が70部
(2)大日本インキ化学工業社製ポリエステルからなるファインテックスES−670が30部
Claims (1)
- 少なくとも片面に、水性ポリウレタン系樹脂と架橋剤とを使用して設けられた塗布層を有し、当該塗布層が150〜250℃で熱処理を行うフィルム製造時に設けられたフィルムに、シート状のエチレン−ビニルアセテート共重合体を塗布層面に接するように加熱圧着してなることを特徴とする太陽電池用ポリエステルフィルム。
